Bunch of clowns on another site suggest it won't matter whether Opie gets off or not. They suggest he is not that good and Te Akau would be better off with Tina Comignaghi or at least six other jockeys (who they refuse to name). Biggest load of nonsense you'll ever read. There is certainly only one Opie Bosson!3 points

DEAN MCKENZIE ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS FROM RACECAFE

Scoob, I view Q & A sessions like this the same way I regard 'debates' at Election time. Mucho promisings, very little deliverings. Think of all Jacinda's promises from the election Winston installled her as PM at ... and then ponder all the non-deliveries that hvae ensued...3 points -

No Huey. Hopefully we will be doing better than that as other unhappy owners are involved, we have another strategy which just needs a majority approval. Once I shift to my new property in a few months I will have a Track,a treadmill ,a walker and a pool. No more pro trainers and no more multiple owners. I will then race my half brothers and sisters to Kufu's dam, plus others bred, myself ----- Until I fall off the perch. I may not have as much success, but I will have a lot of fun.3 points

In the North Island this time last year there was maiden races at Rotoroa 15 Jan New Plymouth 16 jan Te Rapa 19 Jan Otaki 20 Jan Avondale 22 Jan Wingatuii 23 Jan Te Teko 27 Jan Hastings 29 Jan This year in same period we have: Wanganui 14 Jan Te Rapa 21 Jan Matamata 25 Jan Hastings 28 Jan This is half the races. If you are going to half the races then lets at least double the stakes!!!2 points -
two questions.... There's $45m in an unsecured revolving credit facility coming up for renegotiation by 31 August this year. With low interest rates the ability to service this debt is not in question. 1.What are the thoughts of the TAB as to how, and when, this debt will be repaid? This year's code distributions have been pegged with the proviso that these distributions will be subject to a quarterly assessment based on the TAB's actual performance. Q1 performance was well ahead of plan and Q2 is also tracking favorably. 2.When, as in an actual date, was the TAB's code distribution for the quarter ending October 2020 formally confirmed to each of the codes?2 points

Thanks JJ Flash. But I have two other questions with NZTR that are met with no replies so I would hardly expect a reply on this.2 points -
totally agree shane and maidens are still getting eliminated2 points

The point is , I don't mind paying for it, but I'd like the option of having it all in one place , thats up to the providers to find a way to achieve , having to subscribe to several packages, use several apps etc is downright annoying imo2 points

Re Hastings, two North Island meetings on same day should not happen. The Levin Stakes and Telegraph noms are out shortly (they will be light on numbers).....lets compare these to years gone by., We are saturated with Maidens and 65 rated horses in NZ and not enough races for them. If you are good enough to get out of these grades you generally get sold (except the larger syndicated horses). Horses that can't get out of these grades will find their careers cut short. It is very thin above these grades.1 point -
Whats Opie's Chance
shaneMcAlister reacted to Red Rum for a topic
Haven't really looked at the rides in question , however in some places a Group 1 or Grade 1 race day is not included in the ban if you apply to have that day not counted and bump the day forward , although I know Karaka night isn't Group 1 day so that rule wouldn't apply to this .1 point -
Yet you're still posting and reading there ... LMAO!1 point

Doubles odds TAB
nomates reacted to Nukkledragga for a topic
If you compare F/O bets with tote bets, because of the way bookies percentages are calculated, tote odds win overall ,117% versus 130%. Pool sizes only matter in that the bigger they are the more average they become, they are not better by virtue of their size. Take a survey of results on the tote compared to bookies prices on any meeting and it will be clear that a majority of tote divvies are better and therefore doubles should be better as well except for the fact of the concession,so at the end of the day THAT is the choice, a double with the chance of a concession that reduces the payout but increases your chances versus fixed odds " better" price but no concession1 point -
There is generally a mile day down south each year and it is certainly a great day. We need more of these around the country, maybe they should be the races that count which qualfies horses for the jewels ( only a suggestion ). Would make iracing exciting to see them in those circumstances.1 point

Oh yes, trainers have to play their part (presumably what they paid for by the owner) educating horses from young age and not to rely on "I'm to busy to spend time on that" and "Hope it will handle the start"1 point

You contradict (sort of) yourself - you say ban stands EXCEPT for big races. So how do those in big races get stand practice against a field if you ban them The two things you need to improve upon is 1) being tougher on hrses who consistently don'e go away from a stand and 2) the human element i.e. drivers who cheat by either trying to get a timed run up or delay the start and the performance of the starters. Simple!! Easy to improve isn't it - when (way back lol) never had these problems!!1 point

I recall seeing TV shows, where they would setup a prank... and all actors were brought in to play their part to convince the target person... that its all real. now imagine this show... but on a grander scale, where every actor is playing there part in the political prank of the century... to convince the public that the USA election was real. to do it on such a huge scale, with people already aware of the prank... but dont wish to play along... rather they chose to reveal the prank!!! this is the essence of what we have seen... and are seeing(well some of us)1 point

Scooby3051, I am writing as one of those with what you call a "delusional disorder". It has been my experience that almost all of those with an attention span in excess of 140 characters would be classified by yourself as having a "delusional disorder". I have read several very lengthy treatises on the stolen election, and they are hard work to comprehend, but all point to the fact that the election was stolen and that the thieves have won and that I should just get over it and move on. It is quite remarkable how those swamp critters managed it. They knew that to get the irrefutable facts together in a detailed and comprehensive manner that would satisfy a number of high court judges would take two years and no nation can exist in that sort of limbo for that sort of period.1 point -

My question.....What are the realistic and achievable 'game-changers' in his Strategic and Business Plans to increase Betting Profits and decrease operating costs which will provide the Codes significantly more money to return to owners and future proof the Industry. What is his opinion on the current level of returns to Owners /Industry and does he think these are sustainable. ?1 point -

Do you reckon they get to sit together in Gitmo or will they get the firing squad that has just been made legal again? Maybe Joe could ask for 40% black shooters to keep the diversity count right. Tell us in your dreams how you think Biden could possiby get a security clearance with the upcoming treason charges? Big tech guilty1 point -
