Today i attended the funeral of the above at St Patrick's Cathedral in Auckland.Passed away on the 4th May aged 88. A past Chairman of the Auckland Racing Club.(No One from Auckland Throughbred Racing there from what i could see and nothing on their Internet page) Though Andrew Scott made the effort to attend. Owner of Waitak and many other racehorses including Milltak which he was in a syndicate.Also Seaflyte which had the 2011 Hawkes Bay Cup won till Patrick Holmes fell of with 50ms to go after the horse hit the running rail.I was there and it cost me some thousands of $ Colin was a true Gentleman and a very succesful business man. -

Maurice is good value, has shown potential in diverse track conditions, as has Shalaa. Castelvecchio I think could be a real find and I'd love to see more Savabeel line mares going to him. -
