    • Subtle would be an understatement. I’d still try the green in CAFE.
    • Preakness Stakes (G1) winner Journalism returned to the work tab June 29, breezing a half-mile at Santa Anita Park in :47 4/5. Trainer Michael McCarthy said the son of Curlin came out of the work well, but has no goals yet for summer races.View the full article
    • The United States Supreme Court took a major step toward moving forward the years-long dispute over the constitutionality of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority's powers with a sweeping set of orders June 30.View the full article
    • Newmarket trainer Charlie Fellowes will aim to add the United States to the list of countries where he has saddled winners when lining up Luther in the July 4 Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes (G1T).View the full article
    • Kia ora Philip   Thank you for your gift to the Compassion Soup Kitchen. It is very much appreciated.
    • Still winning…?    Red states including Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas could see up to 18% higher energy costs by 2035 if Trump’s bill passes, compared with a scenario where the bill didn’t pass.   Annual household energy costs could rise $845 per year in Oklahoma by 2035, and $777 per year in Texas. That’s because these states would be set to deploy a massive amount of wind and solar if Biden-era energy tax credits were left in place. If that goes away, states will have to lean on natural gas to generate power. Blue states that are deliberately putting more clean energy onto their grids would still see prices rise over the coming decade, albeit far less, Orvis said. They are more immune to price shocks because they won’t be as heavily reliant on gas and coal.
    • I agree there would be a case, the club and the people in charge of the course should also have to take a hit, they never had the course closed off as it had been in previous years. Yes people make mistakes but why just the jockeys get hammered, did the stewards or the race day officials lose anything from their back pocket...I bet not....as I said plenty of blame to go around here.
    • Over 20 years. What a conceited prick he was…👊
    • If you have to have it during a race, I'd prefer that option, or as SLB says, just for post race coverage. I much prefer the side view during the running so I can see how horses are travelling. I find the drone view useless for that and very annoying.
    • I reckon that they don't want to split to ensure there will be plenty of horses to fill next weeks synthetic meeting . On that , why is it Riccarton regularly run meetings on their synthetic for big stakes yet Awapuni and Cambridge always run for 17k ? Is this another case of just looking after the southerners ?🫣
