    • I also note the last time ASHBURTON had the rail in true position was 11 Oct. Riccarton are not much better (Grand National and Cup Week) the bigger question is why do clubs only have rail in true position once or twice a year? Why do NZTR not ask tougher questions around this. Even Entain should be concerned with this as it impacts punting/starting numbers…..but this just gets passed through to the keeper like everything else.
    • And as well, I think there was some involvement from the same quarter with the extra maiden on the poly next week.   Again, good work.  But the poly solution doesn't suit everyone, and the continuing lack of grass opportunities [ esp trials] locally is a real bone of contention.  Trainers don't care?  they care all right...but most have had the shit kicked out of them for so long I think they've just given up.
    • I think you will find that a trainer [ who chooses not to announce his/her input ] has been instrumental in achieving that change.
    • Indeed Leigh, never disappointed week after week just another fiasco surfaces Just a very sad ongoing commentary on the reigning incompetence PS My mates in Aussie just cannot get their heads around Race 1 Trentham in that only the jocks, horses, owners and punters got shafted and the rest walked away …. They simply don’t understand how the organisers are off the hook,
    • Nah its done now mate.
    • I'm renaming you Jumbo because of the thickness of your hide Hokey.
    • Hokey you are getting desperate it won't be long now and you will let it slip that you are becoming a Trump admirer . Your post on energy is a complement to Trump, by 2025 Trumps drill baby drill will be gushing cheap energy and Trump is actively promoting nuclear so he wants any form of energy that's home grown and reliable , compared to Australia your 18% over 10 years will prove to be a bargain     Red states including Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas could see up to 18% higher energy costs by 2035 if Trump’s bill passes. Australia Electricity has risen 63 per cent on top of inflation across the last decade (Grattan.edu.au), and Australia is facing price increases of between 4-7% in 2025.7 Feb 2025
    • Subtle would be an understatement. I’d still try the green in CAFE.
    • Preakness Stakes (G1) winner Journalism returned to the work tab June 29, breezing a half-mile at Santa Anita Park in :47 4/5. Trainer Michael McCarthy said the son of Curlin came out of the work well, but has no goals yet for summer races.View the full article
