There is a Liam Birchley trained filly called Dream Roca (El Roca x Petrachor) racing tomorrow at Eagle Farm Race 3, they are hoping to get to the KM. It's not picked by anyone but I thought it was newsworthy. Butler Cabin has been scratched for Te Rapa tomorrow.

Still prone to a touch of bullshit though. Unless he knows something nobody else does? He was quoted in a Waikato local paper last week as saying ' the contract has been signed for a new Greenfields racing complex just south of Hamilton..a news release will be made this week ( like the past 5 days). So, what Butch..Te Rapa on the market? Really?

Tauranga R7 #2 Carisbrook Castle EW - one to follow through the summer. Won over 16oom on deb ut at Ruakaka - recently trials-placed and there was a bit if a 'rap' on this thing (Derby prospect etc).Dont know what happened with the unplaced run s that followed before the spell, but ...if the horse is anywhere near fit (and it should be), could do the damage early in the prep. In to $11s from $16s ...

No I hope it will be honest debate but a few some who are now gone can't help themselves and if we want to have honest open dialogue then it needs to be mutually respectful.

Sounds good.  I stand behind everything I post (real name used) and never attack anyone personally, ever.  However I hope they are not above real relevant questions.

I am going to give specific industry leaders a platform to answer questions on major issues within the industry. Its still being finalised and members will be able to ask and reply but all will be moderated as I do not want to let the thread becoming a place where industry leaders decide not to post or participate in. I am working through the ways we can make this a good addition here and where everyone can get some answers and hear both sides of the issues as at present we only get one and dont know actually in some instances why things are done. I would  like the people who are involved in the decision making to participate here so we can then have a clearer picture of why certain things are done the way they are. But it won't become a place to attack them or it will not work...I hope that is clear.

Good questions WD. Yes, seems like a good idea but I'm not quite clear who is replying there or what they are replying to?

Every dog has its day, and if your not in you can't win, great racing on the coast this time of year,you might have a better chance than finding that elusive gold nugget, more than likely a couple horse gold nuggets in the stable.
