I think the external party is skill setted to deliver “their recommendation”, but given they have to go back to the Messara report and work from their to today I genuinely doubt this will be completed in the time frame outlined
There is no doubt about it, we are at the crossroads and decisions that have been delayed for years must be taken
Clear a number of Clubs will close down, possibly many and asset sales ensue …. that is the real issue that has to dealt with, the rest as to where we race in the future is already known, but there may be a couple of surprises.

When I think of the MRC committee's back in the 60's 70's and 80's the amazing racedays, and how Palmy rocked back then, the race buses going up from Welly full, all I can think of is........Thanks for the memories, as the new Gen has well and truly fucked racing big time, Lest We Forget.
Give the young bloke a break. Only 24 and no doubt still finding his way in NZ Racing and not doing badly for mine.
The stables giving him rides...Te Akau, James/Wellwood, Marsh, Rogerson etc obviously recognise his talent.
