Rotorua Races cancelled.

Recommended Posts

NZTR and Rotorua Racing Club have decided to cancel the meeting scheduled for this Sunday 24 September. The early decision has been made after reviewing the weather forecast, which is for severe rainfall in the region over the next few days.
NZTR will look at options to add races to other meetings to provide opportunities for those who have missed a run at Rotorua.

At Tauranga today, despite the prediction of extensive rain, the rainfall figures at Tauranga for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today were, wait for it;

"zip, zero, nothing."

How on earth can climate alarmists predict the weather in fifty years time if they cannot predict the weather for tomorrow morning.

Looks like the NZTR heiracgy have started gambling on the weather forecast, they won with the Gore decision, may have stuffed up with Rotorua though, seemed a bit hasty.

 The Gore situation was different as there were clear weather warnings in place,

The bigger picture may have been taken in consideration with Rotorua as they do have a stakes meeting coming up on October 15th.
