    Depends how well bred those champion mares were. Sunline's breeding was a bit of a dead-end. Just compare the black type on the yearlings mentioned above. They wouldn't be in the Easter Sale without it.

    Diminishes the Breed. Short term gain long term loss. Bit like the 2kg female allowance. If you want to spread the dosh around then spend more on the lower grades and hopefully retain good horses.

    Nothing to do with either. Dan Andrews parting gift was to carve up all the streets and there was no way they could have a parade with all the road cones. Seriously that's the reason.
