Something a bit different from me for this thread.  Not everyone's cup of tea, but I like to sort out a few H2H bets at the start of the day.  I'll post them on here and see how I go.

Matamata R3  Vintage Bardot to beat Amberite  $1.90
Matamata R4  Buccino to beat Firestorm   $1.80
Matamata R10  Sha Carri to beat Our Wonderland  $1.85

Greymouth R2  Divine Dive to beat O'Jessica  $2.30

0 from 4.  Slow start :)

I don't know if any of you are watching the World Darts final just now, but just saw the most amazing leg of darts you will ever see.

Both plays perfect through six darts each.  MvG threw first and missed a double 12 for the nine darter, and Michael Smith followed with the nine darter - un-bloody-believable!!!!

R8: 3-9-10-8. 3 (14u @ 2.4), 9 (2u @ 9), 10 (0.5u @ 26).

Best Bet R2-5 or R5-9.

Best Value R4-1 or R6-6.

Best Roughie R6-4 or R8-10.

No TV where I am but have seen some highlights.  Nearly impossible. Hard to imagine seeing it again in a world final. Good ol Bully Boy rapt for him. And #1 now.

My selections are still trying to finish from yesterday...

I have mates, Scooby, who are treaures.

As in the bumware that little kids fill...

Regularly I get bailed up in Wellington a few days after rhe first Tuesday in November with calls of 'Get off the street, you fool. Your Melbourne Cup tip is just about to begin its run to the Flemington finishing line...'

I cry...

R1 6-5 then 1-7-8. Definitely scared of 1 though it maps to get back. 6 (5u @ 5), 5 (10u @ 2.3).

R2 No bet. Fave probably wins at $1.35.

R3 4 then 3-5-2. 4 8u @ 4.2 (I'd be MUCH more keen if it rains).

R4 No bet. Gun to my head I'd go with 3 from 4-5-8.

R5 No bet (probably). 2 is $2.50 fave but maps back. The field might be small enough and the jockey good enough for it to not matter, but I'm not sure. Might back it later.

R6 4 from 5-3-1, with 6 a chance if it rains. Dry track a big positive for 1, but maps back. 4 (12u @ 3.2), 5 (6u @ 4.2), again I'd be much more keen if rain comes to slow down the 1.

R7 6-9-5. 11 runners, 6&5 probably get back. 6 (14u @ 2.4), 9 (3u @ 7.5).

Meeting abandoned. I was thinking (only half-jokingly) after the result of the first that that track should be closed. I'm not joking at all now.

Then again, maybe it's saved me some money today.

Here, there and everywhere for the three selections for Friday - UK times:

3.10 Meydan: MOUHEEB (current price 7/2)

5.15 Southwell FURNICOE (11/4)

5.30 Meydan LAZULI (7/2)

The usual 1-point win Patent so a 7-point bet.
