R2 Ohiwa Sunset $1.75 to beat She Wrote More

Sandown (like Pukekohe Nz) one of the better tracks to bet at with the big long straight , giving everyone a chance. Even has a dip and rise like English tracks . 

Going the Oz special in race 1 with TheSecondAtPortsea. About 10-1 in a 6 horse field is excellent odds I thought. 

He Closed on them well late here at track last time . Jock has won on him before. Small field suits. Will be 'cherries right' second up for fitness too (all going well lol )

R2 7-8-17. 7 maps to get a soft lead, so 7 12u @ 4.2.

R3 No bet. Against the 10 but can see the arguments for all the rest.

R4 9-7-6 the only three in the market and there's not much over them. With 6 mapping back and being the shortest price, and 9 mapping forward and being the longest, I like 9 8u @ 4.8, 7 6u @ 3.5.

R5 4-2 from 14-8 from 3. 4&2 map forward, 14&8 map back. Though 4 failed c&d on a heavy 10 last prep while 14 looks like it handles the wet. 4 5u @ 4.2, 2 3u @ 8, 14 3u @ 4.5.

R6 No bet. Slight lean to the 1, though the 2 has handled a heavy track in a trial while 1 didn't.

R7 No bet. 2&7 have ability but unproven on heavy and both 1u today. 1 is a chance at $12, 8 returns from decent form in Oz.

R8 11-2-4-5. 4-5-11 all under $4, double figures the rest. Against 5 with the map. 2 ran 10th of 11 on debut but has a number of positives and is $16. Heavy track a complete unknown for 11. 11 10u @ 2.2, 2 1.5u @ 16.

Not excited about another heavy track.

R1 No bet. 2-4-5-14. 4 possibly best the horse in the race off its debut run, but first look at heavy. 2 maps to get back from the outside barrier. They are both only 2u today whereas 5&14 are 3u.

R2 3-1-2. The scratching of the fave has brought them all into prices where I can't back them all. 3 4u @ 4.2.

R3 6-7 from 9-3-12-1. 6 placed all three runs this prep and handles heavy. 7 good both runs this prep, handles soft, never tried heavy. As a rule I like backing mares who are in form. 6 6u @ 4.8, 7 4u @ 5.5, 9 1u @ 12.

R4 No bet. 12-4-6-9 (the only four in the market; no prizes for finding them).

R5 I had this a two horse race before one of them scratched leaving the other one an even-money fave. 14 25u @ 2.4 (boosted odds).

R6 5 from 6 from 8. Slightly against the $2.40 fave even though she does handle heavy tracks. 5 handles them too, so 5 8u @ 3.

R7 6-8 from 9-4-1-10. 6 has had excuses both career runs and had gone alright regardless. 8 the only one not stepping up in trip, which is particularly handy on what should be a testing track. 6 6u @ 4, 8 6u @ 4.8.

R8 No bet. Gun to my head it's 3-9-14-15.

After seeing Sneeze improve so much, maybe a dollar or two on Legit with Riddell up in the last @ $15/4 might be worth including.
