Debbie might head the Yank and others off.

But, its an auction and its only worth what somebodys prepared to pay for it.

Given most champion mares are relative  failures as broodmares  todays outcome will be fascinating IMO

Depending what business you're in or how well heeled one is it's probably a tax deductable transaction anyway. Apart from the pedigree it certainly looks like a well balanced filly. It has a leg on every corner.

funniest auction ever

Very polite way to describe the BS auction Pogo!

Imagine the deals that went on pre-auction with dummy bids, discounted commissions,----------

A major PR exercise for Inglis, Oz racing,--that clown Albanese will even be spruicking his input. Comical the whole affair.

It's like monopoly money , simply couldn't imagine spending that much coin on a horse .

Good on DK for keeping hold of the filly for herself .

Lots of money to be made from her even if she doesn't make it on the track , grabs a G1 then they're quids in .
