Racecafe Spring Pairs comp - week 2 entry thread

Please note a change below to the Posting deadline arrangements this week - giving myself a bit more time to get picks loaded before kick-off and making it a single deadline.

 

1.  Either pick two horses in each race - you will have $10 each way on both and a $2 quinella; or if you'd prefer to pick just one horse in any (or all of the races) you can do that and you will have $20 each way on that one runner,  but you will forego the quinella.

2.  You will have two best bet races where your bet is doubled.  They can be any two of the 12 races listed below.

Posting deadline this week is 1.15pm.   All picks or scratching replacements need to be posted before this deadline.   

If anyone hasn't posted by 1.15pm I will send a message to their partner and give them a chance to send me back a set of picks for the missing poster - they will need to be substantially different to their own (at least 10 different selections).

This weeks races are as follows - no NZ races but a Group 3 from Adelaide:

Please enter horse numbers, not names and remember to nominate two best bet races, and some form of punctuation between your two numbers is very helpful - thanks.

and a little clarification on the Late Scratching rule:

- if you have a single pick and it is late scratched you will move to a single bet on the TAB sub.
- if you have two selections and one is late scratched, your scratching will move to the TAB sub, or second favourite on the Win tote if you already have the sub.
- if you have two selections and both are late scratched you will move to the TAB sub and the second favourite on the Win tote.

and if two or more horses are equal second favourite on the Win tote, the replacement will be the one with the lowest saddle-cloth number  (1 is lower than 2)
