Has anyone heard from Clark, Twyford, Sepulone,  Davis of late?     Looks like the 3 Musthaveteers have taken over total command.    Even friend Winston appears to have been cast aside.

Earlier today I attended the website funeral service for Dene Biddlecombe a prominent owner and administrator in the Northern region.
It was a very tasteful service ,a good send off for a well known man in Harness and Rugby League circles.
Part-owner of a number of horses including Temporale.
Dene had lived a very acitve life in both Business and sporting endeavours , and having got to know him in recent years ,while he battled the dreaded cancer I know he was a a very generous man prone to helping others.
He used to MC the IHC fundraisers at the Auckland trots and donated much of his sporting memorobilia to that cause.
RIP Dene.

I get the feeling we are in for another week of level 3 in Auckland (& 2 elsewhere)    There will be a lot of angry businesses.     Perhaps she will be smart and just extend till Friday and on Thursday or Friday further extend to the following Wednesday to "ease the pain" 

In Auckland the Health Dept have closed down the BNZ selected branches where last week they were open and I see the ANZ still say they are open tomorrow.    Confusion rains.

Probably came with an exempt truckie in a commercial float.    Not in Rogies float.      Presumably Arna did that with hers.      Otherwise how could it have been at Purdons?        Horses are okay it's just humans unless they exempt and the govt have issued a lot of exemptions for commercial vehicle drivers.      Yes, it's confusing and I don't think they really thought it out too well.      Goods like foodstuffs had to be trucked from Pukekohe south so really all this could have been avoided by not making split zones.        I see also the thoroughbred stables at Pukekohe had horses at Taupo and jockeys are staying in Waikato area until all this nonsense is over.    Gallopers went south many with staff who lived Tuakau area while trainers "stayed home" - and some had Waikato people meet them and put them on the track.

Has anyone been to check on the health of the thousands of overstayers in South Auckland?

Will the Labour Party publicly apologise to the people of the West Coast and New Zealand as a whole for their handling of this affair?

Probably not john - but the real pity was owners/trainers not nominating for these races.     Most, if not all, of these youngies are better or at least as good as many of the experienced drivers so why the annual reluctance to nominate is beyond me!
