Enazuma .....what an arsehole of a dog.??.. After the line and at the lure this dog( a previous blinker wearer) continues to thrash dogs.!!!!... even last week hitting the fence and falling heavy in his fury. His catchers are slack and geriatric which does not help the dogs this boy continues to thrash outside the rules of the R.I.U. to out the bludger... I notice another from the same kennel is even worse and has dealt to a lot of very good dogs ....,once again outside the boundaries of dealing with dogs from the authorities... that in my opinion if the handlers cant control them...they should not be running...

^^ lol

All threats a side, Enazuma and Red Moova Hoova would have to be a couple of the worst dogs I've seen on the finish on lure. You don't want to be finishing on first with one of these 2 behind ya! Certainly not enjoyable when it's your dog taking the full brunt of the fighters.

Very constructive way to take criticism.....there are dogs out there like this who like to have a go at other dogs at the lure, the two dogs trained by Goldsack/Denby are pretty bad when you watch them, they have put dogs into the fence before .

Trainers and handlers don't mind so much as long as the trainer lets everybody know and to tell them that whoever gets to the dog at the lure first to grab it before it can do any damage, when the handler or trainer of the dog doesn't seem to care or thinks it is funny then that is when people have a real problem.

I do agree Scooby as a owner of thoughbreds without success was thinking at trying my hand at the greyhound code but with all the negative comments on here at the moment I am having second thoughts

Good grief!!. How many class 5 dogs/bitches do you know that are 5yrs old or older??? & still in class 5. Give Punga and Mrs P some credit!!! Take a  look at the " trainers" that use "god knows what" on their animals, then expect them to run in a race. The association should take a good hard look at them and the condition of the racetrack (Wanganui especially). The association should re-organise the way they do the swabs  They are athletes. You can't expect an athlete to run  on a injury prone track. Next you'll want the All Blacks to wear ballet shoes on the Rugby field!! It doesn't matter what sport you're involved in, if you got something to say to someone, say it to their face, not behind their back. Go the "KerryGlen" breeding!!!

scooby3051...

I apologise for the discomfort and problems I appear to have caused you.

My post was made from the heart.

In future, I will endeavour to involve my head.

I appreciate the availability of this Forum as an apportunity for all of us to discuss relevant issues.

The issue of anonymity concerns me but the Rules have been made clear and nobody forces me, or anyone else, to participate.

I really appreciate the time, effort and money that you,and your former partner in this venture, have put in and, once again, I would like to apologise to you, and to all other posters, for having jeapordised the current existence of this excellent Forum.

All the best.

Maybe it's time to make people stop hiding behind nom de plumes. If they are prepared to open their mouths to rubbish people and their dogs then they need to be prepared to sign a name to it. As said above who the hell would want to join our sport with all the shit that goes on. You people are a disgrace and I am ashamed to call myself a greyhound trainer at the moment. Grow up or go away.
