  1. As new condition. Cluster head probe. Portable. Very handy to have for fixing those those niggles. $2000 0212139097
  2. Hahaha yrs i gave the Cd team the prep talk before the race and told karen about this convo on race cafe...and much to my dismay the northener got it!!! I have to admit the best dog won on friday night and well done to karen much deserved win.We need get our butts into gear round here.
  3. Oh thats a shame. Something like that would definately be exciting.... Its boring going round racing the same dogs every week and watching it to. Something bit more exciting bring the competitive side out in everyone and a bit of friendly interisland/club comp would brighten things up a bit
  4. Even the doubling up on dam lines as clarkie said Tess Tokaam to bigtime kinvara for example. I got told told to neverdouble up on bitches to much in ped cause they in general are inferior to the male sires they were bred to but alot of good dogs have appeard fron peds with a saturation of bitch or two. In my mind a mating like tess to kinvara would be a brood bitch mating... Maybe not get the champions in that lot but keep the best bitch out breed with the best sire froma compatiable line then bingo you got your stars haha
  5. What do people think about close matings of prolific sires... Say 3x3 of brett lee or even a 2x3? I would like to try it with collision. Seems greyhound breeders are loathe to inbreed. Doubling up on the top producers up close seems hardly a bad idea. As long as breeders are selective and ruthless in going through their breeding stock there is no reason why this would not be a super way to produce superior stock. Especially good broods that would throw exceptionally well especially when outcrossed then the said offspring being bred back into the broods family.
  6. I think Really Clever could throw a dog or two. He has an interesting pedigree plus being an absolute speed machine before injury put him out. A brave effort last friday coming back from all hes had making it into final of wellington cup.
  7. Would have to consult with other trainers and would be the club holding the races decision ultimately (which would have to be palmy or everyone would whinge bout broken legs). But each of the clubs round the country could nominate 3 dogs or something have heats ect winner takes all lmao. Be a bit of fun
  8. Seeing us c.d trainers have the worst tracks, shittest trainers and the crappiest dogs shouldnt be a problem getting a good challenge race going on from the jaffas up nth and the hillbillys down sth haha lets do this!!! C.D UP!!!"
  9. Sounds like we need to organise some district match races... And a nth vrs sth interisland challege trophy settle this once and for all lol
  10. Oh well if its so wasy to win races up here like every one says think there be more sth islanders up here since we race three times a week. Should be easy pickings for all those top trainers down there with there with their loads of champion race dogs
  11. Maybe they just cant be botherd driving all this way to get their arses kicked by the local trainers lol
  12. Errrr excuse Errrr excuse me im in the northisland and train wine time and she is nothing but an honest bitch.
  13. All this talk of the Allegro dogs and the best one is sitting in Brendons kennels and im sure he would love a few girlfriends. It seems everyone has forgotton what a top dog he was.
  14. Recently served Lost In Light to Blue Lorien. Fingers crossed it takes
  15. Hi Micheal, Thanks for you're kind comments always good to learn some of the history behind these dogs. Currently looking for a sire for Eruza been thinking along the lines of http://www.greyhound-data.com/dbtestmating.php?&sireid=1785125&damid=1943115 Or even Blue Lorian Does any one have any other suggestions what crosses well with this blood and which sire would add certain traits its lacking?
