OMG No, he was such an awesome young man & good rider, his mum & whanau will be absolutely devastated. My heart goes to his mum & whanau. Will miss him much, a very polite, respectful dude will miss your hugs hello each time we caught up. Ride high mokoboi. Just won't be the same at races without you -

Wow, if my math is somewhere near close, it's about $NZ80 to get through the turnstiles (for one) and have some FUSH & CHUPS (for one) and watch 5 mid-week low-grade races. I guess if you had a pint (just one) to wash it down, you'd be a "hundy in the hole" before you had a bet? Although being a pensioner l would get a £5 discount at the gate 🤣, but then one might need a race "book" on top of that, so that almost cancels out my discount 😢 Is that about "the norm" for a mid-week meeting in the UK Stodge? I guess people get used to it, but obviously it's all relative to income as well. Some decades ago l was in England for a few weeks and attended a number of Motorsport events where the entry price was about the same number of UK pounds as we would pay NZ dollars here in Kiwi-land (so roughly £25 versus $25 at the time, although the exact numbers escape me). The exchange rate at the time was roughly 3-1, I seem to remember. Lucky l didn't have to pay 🤣
