  1. Hi Tommo, could you get in touch via email please ? cheers zimmo
  2. He won't be the only one doing that if zzz and co get their way and we all sit around and race for 5k.
  3. Mr Rogerson is right behind this and agrees that Mr Chttick is the man for the job. Our racing Minister is nothing more than a joke, he has got a free portfolio, he gets paid to do NOTHING for racing.
  4. Sorry Berri, but it does work, just look at the Fair Tax issue, Rob and co won a great battle there with group support from around the country.
  5. We do not put up a charge for owners racing in our stable colours, it is up to the owners what colours they want to see on their pride and joys, if they choose to use our stable colours, it is free of charge ! cheers
  6. And who would keep an eye on that scenario. I agree with Chris, all stick together and just not register any colors. I know this would not happen as some would be to scared to take any action. Can anyone explain where the costs involved come from, and why is it, that it costs a lot more to register Trainers colors compared to an individuals colors ??? I can see the need to charge for an initial registration, but to keep charging is a joke. The owner supplies the product, and just keeps paying for very little return. A good example of this is at Wanganui on the 29th July, the powers that be have deleted two $10k races and replaced them with one $6k race....where does the other $14k go ??? Why could that $14K not be put into stakes of the other races on that day ??? The owners get smacked again.
  7. Hi there, how old is he and what has been done with him to date ? cheers
  8. Chris Rutten at Cavallo in Te Horo, 06 364 2023. He looks after 95% of our horses and does a fantastic job. He lives on the property and has wonderful full time staff. Give him a call I am sure he will take great care of your mare at reasonable rates.
  9. How about testing everyone in the industry, after all the industry has heaps of money to get rid of, thats why the stakes we race for are so high
  10. Lets hope so, the rain is very heavy here in Levin and it looks real dirty up Foxton way, hate to think what the track will be by Monday race time.
  11. Following a routine drug test at Ellerslie at the Auckland Racing Club meeting on 26 May 2010, Environmental Science and Research (ESR) reported that a urine sample provided by Jockey Jason Waddell was positive to methamphetamine. Jason Waddell has been stood down from riding from 2 June 2010 until a substantive decision of the Judicial Control Authority (JCA) determines a penalty.
  12. Kane T, Leah new all along she would not retain the mount at Wanganui, after all it was not a claiming race. Leah is very grateful to the trainers and connections of the wonderful mare for the chance to ride her at all, let alone twice. Opie rode a very good race but the track was just not to her liking, she still went a tidy race.
  13. Perhaps they heard about the injury to WP, hope all is well now and we would be pretty happy to run the quinella.
  14. I agree Chris, in an ideal world it would be great, but the way a lot of the tie up stalls are set up in NZ makes this unpractical, they would have to be rebuilt in a manner as to where a fence could be erected facing them. As I have said to sister, just who pays for this ?
