    Gruff unmasked!
On NZ Today, TV program last night, Guy Williams interviewed a conspiracy theorist called Lorainne, from Nelson. She sounded a lot like you. Nice enough, but a bit of a nut-job.

This thread was not initially about "dangerous Ardern", you have merely turned it toward that.
The first post mentioned how Ardern would resonate with Gen X voters, and that is exactly what occurred.
I would assume you are not Gen X, given your propensity for posting the rants of far right commentators.

Blossom Lady - Came off 90 meters behind to win the Manawatu Trotting Cup.
That story about Jumps Jockeys doesn't surprise me. if you've got around safely - you deserve to celebrate.
The Hill going would be very sad, but hard decisions are required at this time.

So Australia is going to war with China?? Well that should be interesting! Best we just sit back and see how it plays out, I reckon 💥

As his colleagues said to Speaker of the House Mallard. "If you just remain silent Trevor, you'll give them no oxygen."
Unlike Trevor Mallard, I have self-discipline, and will thus be making no further comment on this thread. 😷
Crackpot Gruff and Crackpot 100 1, now have the floor entirely to themselves.

If Jacinda Ardern puts on a repatriation flight to bring people home from India, I will vote National at the next election. 🤞

One of the great things about living in a free, democratic country such as ours, is that people such as 100 1 and Gruff can keep churning out their subjective, unadulterated drivel day, after day, after day, after.........................😔

It's always "sides" with you isn't it. What's that all about?
I see it like the school playground, where the two big bully boys China and Uncle Sam are choosing kids to play on their team. Back in the day, I always found it best to play on one side one day and the other side the next. That way you stay in with both bullies. You got to be light on your feet, smart with your mouth and occasionally you hit the bully boy extra hard and he learns not to mess with you. That's New Zealand.
Other kids fall in behind one bully like a pathetic lap dog. That's Australia.

II listen this fella in the morning and I can't understand why this guy ain't prime minister or campaigning to be PM everything that the govt does is wrong, everything he says is right,if one wants to really make a difference, action speaks louder than words.
Over a period of time people in these jobs start believing they are more important than they actually are, personally the country is a big shambles, not everyone can sit on their arse drawing in a big fat salary with extended holidays as he does, if everyone followed the same life style it would be a bigger shambles.
Simple question is why ain't ZB setting up a party? It seems to me a prerequisite of working in their vocation is to be a expert on everything.
No doubt NZ ain't the place it once was, but would these know it alls really do better, probably not.,

That's a great photo Scanman. I've stood in the ditch on the far side of Beechers Brook, in pre-modification times. it was much deeper than the jump in your photo, but narrower, as I recall.
Memphis3 asks how long it will remain in it's current format. I'd answer "It's England - so likely the next 200 years"

Nothing wrong with a bit of sarcasm when dealing with people, who selectively use bible quotes, to match their own biased, blinkered viewpoint.

Hey Brother 6's. IN the past you loved to bore us by quoting the Bible to point to Trump as the second coming. I'm now wondering if you got the wrong guy.
What about this from the Bible.
Gensis 31:3 "The the Lord said to Jacob "Return to the land of your father's and your relatives, an I will be with you."
That sounds to me like Biden letting the young refugees through the border, to go live with their Aunt's and Uncles up in the US of A. What do you reckon??

I don't know why you bother Idolmite. The Trump and Trump supporters operandi is "them and us". You either support us whole heartedly or you're dismissed as one of them.
With Trumpites there can be no room for middle ground. No logical critiquing of both sides.
I take my hat off to you for trying, but you're not a Trump supporter, so in their eyes you MUST BE a Biden supporter.

Solid leadership shown by the Prime Minister in the past week is to be celebrated.
Pushing back against the harping on of the Right wing media, who bleat on for an Aussie Travel Bubble. PM supported by the silent majority of NZ's and shown to be the correct move, in light of Covid issues in Qland.
Boldly breaking promises, where required, to address the Housing crisis created by the former National Govt.
Retaining the services of that "No nonsense, tell it like it is", Speaker of the House Mallard. We could do with more Members of Parliament like him.
Good effort Prime Minister. Keep up the good work.

Uriah Heap reacted to bloke in Tauherenikau Abandoned
Tauherenkau has the biggest average attendance of any NZ racetrack. The New Years meet had a crowd of about 11 k which was well down on the previous year due to the weather forecast of Thunder Storms. The Waitangi Day meet has a crowd of approx 14k.
The Club pays for  the track, in fact the net profit for the Wairarapa Racing Club in the last financial year was $260k.
If you look at the large tracks they are the drain. Have a look at Auckland for the Magic Millions day. NZTR puts in a fortune for a very poor return on investment.

The problem for you Ohokaman is that Jacinda Ardern has little interest in you or your views. In her view of the world, you are a dinosaur and one of a generation who are on the way out the door. Those photo's she is posting are aimed at people 18 to 30, mostly young woman, who all get one vote, the same as you. And those Under 30's are looking at her photos and watching her pod casts and her evening Facebook talks etc etc, and they continue to like what they see.

My thought on the Royal Racism scandal is - Why did Charles (or William) raise concerns about skin colour after the child had been conceived? Surely if they were worried about this, the time to raise skin colour of any progeny would be when the couple were first going out, or when they are considering marriage. Once the mare's in foal you get what you get, so why raise skin colour at this point?
And why skin colour? I'd have thought the Royals would be much more concerned about the child being another balding ginger. 👶🧔

Were the Mike Hosking interviews with Jacinda Ardern "Tough Interviews"? I don't think so.
They were merely a grandstand for Hosking to promote his conservative, right wing, pro Australian views?

Early days I know, but I have to say I've found it all a bit "Ho Hum" so far.
It's started too early, crowds are down a couple of teams seem very weak and it already seems clear who the two finalists are.
Fortunately, local pre-season club games are kicking off. They're the way to go these days.
