Things more complicated these days, as well as the meetings from far flung places, your also competing with every sport imaginable, remember the days when racing, was the only betting option.

Always a positive when you don't trouble the scorer.

Sad to hear of his passing, a loss for the harness code,

Can only wish all the best for a speedy recovery, brings home some reality for us that just punt, watch and critique the riders, and I can plead guilty of that occasionally, certainly reminds us of the important things in life.

Nice place, did you attended the local gallops at Patterson park, was some good trainers on the coast back in the day, few good horses to, Palastone, cappiemore, buller bay, to name a few, ceased racing there in 1996, I was there for the last hurrah, let's hope kawatiri keeps flying the flag for Westport,

Will be watching on with interest, remember the Lamont's, with a t, the owner his name was Bill, nice guy, big burly fella, went to school with his son Mark, had an older brother Malcolm, Bill liked the horses, his wife Pauline, was a teacher I think, nice place to be raised Westport, everything at your fingertips, hunting, fishing, shops handy, people very friendly.

Ah but that's the point of my post. Bet365 pay out on the SP if it's higher than the price you took the bet at.

Good advice to forget and move on, but will those wise words be adhered to, that's the challenge, maybe a bridge far for some.

Shad got a reaction from Toblerone in Te Aroha Steeplechase
The old live brushes certainly safer in my opinion as well, the pretend jumps certainly catch a few out, and some not with good outcomes either, certainly enjoy the live brushes much more, make a much better spectacle to watch.

What ever happened to waimate track, knew they built a new grandstand there, hopefully utilised in some form, asburton a good track, even Banks Pininsula was a good track for the throughbreds, shame some of these now gone.

One time a charge like that you'd suspended for a few months, rules way more watered down now, just like all the apprentice trades, I heard a senior rider even failed to weight in sunday, forfeited riding fee, and trainer lost 4th place stake money, owner wouldn't be happy.
