Amazing me how Merlin is shorter than Merlin . From memory a couple of times they met maybe 3 times at the park STB has beaten him . STB will lead and if he runs 1.55 again can't see Merlin beating him .

And to run 2.39.2 on his ear just incredible for a young horse

Even at this stage of his career . Jumal is probably the best horse in NZ atm . He could run in open class fields he is that good

Only Cam would know who is the best horse and maybe Swayze is . Drivers are loyal of course but in a race like this you wouldn't think he would choose the best chance of winning

Good luck Aaron but I couldn't have Rubira either as STB will lead Lazarus will sit on his back . I don't know where Rubira will end up . But you never know . All American Player went rough around the last turn as well last start . Hopefully he gets around no problem tomorrow
