A great day of Trotting and Pacing at Addington on Sunday 10th with the NZ Pacing Derby, NZ Trotting Derby and 6 more fantastic Group 1 races from some of NZ's Best horses. SO to celebrate, Memphis has kindly donated $75 of his Pairs Win from Johns gallops comp in the form of a $75 win/place bet to the Lucky winner. !!! Merry Christmas all the best. Thanks yeah Interdominion pretty low key without any New Zealand trained runners. Swayzee might of scared them off after Big Nz Cup Win. Amazing that 2 Half Brothers are such dominant favourites in an Interdominion series. Swayzee and Leap To Fame. Might quinella it like they did the Group 1 here in Winter. Unfortunately they have a lot of trouble getting the Broodmare in foal . she has left 2 Filly foals in past 5 years total. No doubt the owner would love another colt. Swayzee had won 10 straight for Grimson so was due a loss. esp from second row barrier draw. He Had to come 3 wide round the field so did a pretty good job to get beaten about 2 lengths by the winning Leader. I rate that Winning horse quite highly named SPEAK THE TRUTH (6 wins from 11 starts this year ) and was good 5th in the Eureka $2,000,000 race at Menangle. the biggest we have in Australia.
