A friend won 26k on the day.lost it .he was none 2 pleased.monday I think result reversed.memory plays tricks but I think j Hayes might have been one of the riders.
 
 

Lloyd poor crowd when u think of days gone by.shame. good facilities good fields good food big screen terrific.the gate to the stand was locked till about 4pm.no one heard of happy hour..it reminds me of a lot  of  my school reports has potential but  must try harder. Overall a pass  mark.biggest disappointment was the woeful efforts of most  of the Aussies. No gammalites popular arms steel jaws .is it like the warriors poor recruitment. ??. 
Mark and Barry purdon dominant.both amazing trainers. Good to see a junior race on such a big stage.brad Williamson boy is he a talent.

I don't know but I do think the handicapper should have the last say on handicapping matters.not sure if they do.they are supposed to be the experts.

. My worry this week it's interdoms does anybody know they are on.so many gr8 memories but seems very flat.could have had breakfast with stars Sunday bring the connections trials etc.

Treadmill that gai warehouse uses and resistance sulkies from Finland.most couldn't afford it or have the horses to justify it but it is all above board.and of course great staff great young horses and above all a world class trainer. Amazing.

I hear Richard brosnan last runners Friday.  A man of high integrity who never took a backward step.on a personal note a man who stood by me in tough times and I have never forgotten.who could forget no response and bonnies chance. I hope all in the industry recognize hs achievements.I know he don't want a fuss but I hope the atc  has plans to recognize his career.

Racing in nz has been dumbed down to be like lotto.million of venues and races.skill factor taken away and if u do win the tab limit or bar u.

When u have friends like Nicky c  a poutama a drake d Ferguson u realise through all the gripes it is a great game.those guys were fantastic . I couldn't h have coped without them.thanks guys.

Another irrational decision by handicapping sub committee.horse with more than 2 wins can't go below 45.why.if you are a 75 year old golfer and u were once on 2 should they make your max 20.really its another in th he long list of decisions that really make no sense.i  would like to get them face to face and take them on.also no discretion conti he's but there is discretion if you read on.bugger me.

Handicapper actually handicaps.mr carpenter announces the winner of the Caulfield cup gets one  kilo.he gave a lot of reasons.very refreshing.not black and white which is how a rating system should work.

Yup from day one. had the right attitude.  Mangos will keep his feet on te ground.brent has done a marvellous job as a mentor and I think though he never shows it is extremely proud.he will make a million mistakes .I told him to stay off social media.it can smash your confidence.
