Bang go and the Beauview Topaz has a length on the field and travelling. Yes it didn't show much fight but highlights again how weak the starter is when the field are not on the same level. Donkey Donnelly has learnt well off his teacher Mr RIGHTTTTTTTTTT While I am on the moan Alan Clark put a professional driver on and your horse will win a race or two (George Eliot for example) - your respect on the track is nil - you will never be given the lead doesn't matter how much you want it.

Yes, you are right Mike each to their own, my mother liked the Seekers as well as Jim Reeves and other old ladies' music. But not liking AC/ DC you need to make sure that you do not express your opinion on them if you ever visit The Tron or Mullet Hutt.

Yes, in the end you're dead right. In this case "being right" has cost him a long time owner that had varying sized interests in about 6 other horses in the stable as well, and the word is he isn't the only owner affected heading for the front gate when the lease in question ends next month. Doing the "right thing" will always trump blindly doing what you have the "right to do" in the long run! -
zelda keep your tips to yourself, or just back horses with J McDonald (nz) on board. or dig up another kero tin, n0?

FF….. I do agree as C Hart does it here better than anyone… But certain NZ drivers “jerk” on the reigns…. And you see the horses heads get thrown into the air…. D Dunn and C Dalgety are identical and are extremely kind on the horses and it’s mouth and go with momentum of the horse…

Dynamite....leaning back on the horses bit in the mouth kids it into thinking its going better than it is if that makes sense...... the horse feels stronger if its up on the bit rather than those drivers that throw the reins at it. Dexter Dunn was (and still is) the master at it.....and going way back to Maurice Holmes (one of the greatest of all time) he used to 'knot' the reins for a stronger grip so he could do it.....and boy didn't they respond over the last furlong. -
I attended Menangle last night and witness young gun drivers like J Callahan… I watch NZ races and some drivers , Williams,Dunn , keep pulling back on the horses mouth up the straight and I wonder why……..? You notice the horses head jolt and must stop their momentum….. Hart, Trainor , Callahan , Grima , McCarthy all sit balanced and do not do this on the horses mouth….

Of course you can. Happens every day of the week in the Courts and laboratories around the world.

The grounds for divorce in many celeb splits are simply ‘irreconcilable differences’. In this case I believe there was some suggestion of inappropriate workplace behaviour of a historic nature, but ultra high net worth individuals like Bill Gates are more at risk from people who make those allegations in the hope of a payout.

You can’t prove a negative Gruff, the onus of proof rightly rests with the person making the allegation. He may or may not be a wanker. From his Wikipedia page he doesn’t appear to be in that category, quite the opposite in fact.

https://harnesslink.com/canada/highland-kismet-blows-them-away-in-225000-goodtimes/ Gapped at the gate, 3 wide and blows the doors off some really good 3yo trotters. His driver never asked him to run and said he was under a hols at the finish. Not bad for a horse who had his 1st ever race less than 6 weeks ago. The Hambletonian is coming up in August and there will be of the greatest young trotters ever. TCI won 1.25 million as a 2yo and is 2 for 2 this year when stakes racing started 3 weeks ago. That 1.25m is a record for any 2yo Karl who destroyed TCI in the Breeders Crown is 3 for 3 this year and Yanick Gingras said he is the best horse he has ever driven and that includes pacers. I don't know how true this is but I heard from a friend that They think Karl can and will trot in 1:48. That of course is unheard of. If they all get to the Hambletonian you can get they break 1.50 at The Meadowlands that would be a stakes record time but a 3yo ran 1.49.3 in a supporting race two years back In October they race in Kentucky at The Red Mile and that track is the fastest track in the US. An older trotter went 1.48.3 there like 7 years ago so Karl could probably slaughter than time. When you can beat FFA pacers at home with a 3yo teotter, he must be really special -
Just reached nadir with Henry Winkler " Others better at this stage " Paid $ 2.90 to win. Race before horse that ran 2nd " Hard to have " paid $ 2 place. I note even other print out said horse in the first " Hard to make a case for " Went out favourite and won. Yes, you don't go by the comments but surely you may as well not bother as have this bullshit. It happened few times during the week, writing off horses completely that paid under $ 3. It's crazy !

You are on the money DS, sadly. Unfortunately, there's a small bunch of trainers with no scruples, most around North Canterbury. Fortunately, they are being weeded out, slowly. It sucks about your mate's horse but in the end the owner rules. -

Well said Pure mate. The owner is entitled to do what he wants with his/her horse, regardless of previous success. Sometimes an owner has a hunch, change of scene! The owner was right in this case. The owner rules! -
Had a look at other meetings today. It does appear the Aussie meetings, even a very low key harness meeting in Tasmania, has comments for each horse that appear to be made by someone who watched its actual races, rather than just looked at the published results.

Congratulations Super Sarah O'Reilly for 300 wins. You are a cracker as I have always said from day one. Everyone knows her father Gerard is my fav driver, he is one of best but underrated. Gerard drove his first winner on my horse donkey's years ago. Sarah is far better than her dad. Sarah O"Reilly, and to be fair young Cameron Hart (Australia), are the best since Dexter. If you want to see perfection, take a look at Sarah O'Reilly's four winning drives on Tectonic and Shard's Matrix at the past two Addington meets. When Sarah heads to the front and gets there after 400m like that, you know you've won. Can she rate a horse in front or what... both 10/10 drives. Win assured so I have time to go out and recharge the Benedictine cup my old mate Iraklis. Come back to watch them all held off by Sarah up long straight. Horses keep running for her, similar to Natalie. Tectonic could have gone another lap, jogging. Tectonic is the next Nairn top liner I have always said so. Sarah and genius trainer Nairn have educated this horse to perfection. Look out next year. -
Wondering whether Aussie based staff are doing the odds and not familiar enough

I note that the comments in harness racing are basic to say the least. Very common is something along the lines of " beaten 10 lengths 3 starts ago, 2nd start 12 lengths 7th, last start 4 lengths 3rd" I wish they would tell us where the horse was in the running i.e .. faced the breeze for most of race, or 4 deep in the running, or hard run 3 wide without cover etc etc. I think we are being ripped off, what do others think ?
