If he put the horse in the cab with him there would be very little room for the driver, block the vision and if the horse became unsettled could cause the driver to have an accident. Where else would you put the horse on that truck? They said they tried to get the horse settled in the cab but couldn't do up the seat belt. The final straw was the horse letting a couple go which drowned out the smell of Lion Red in the cab.
