The blacking of the Judges name is a record with a scratch and if you want to stoop to that level look at the RIU staff performance .
Have you got anything else to say - like they got it wrong and Nigel should never of been charged ?

, I have not bet on harness racing for over a year. You have got to have oversight and regulations. The alternative is corruption. After reading the attitude of pound for pound and Tim Vince and long owner,  you can be sure me and my friends and our money won't be back.  The disgusting language used, the aggressive and unnecessary tone and telling people to p-ss off. These people deserve each other. Tim Vince has a duty to be a ambassador to his livelihood. Instead he bleats constantly with mad cap conspiracy theories. The RIU should rescind his license and tell him to go do something else.  GOODBYE..........

Nice win for Speeding Spur, gets up on the line. 1:52 and 4 which is a track record for aged horses.

Don’t wish to be disrespectful to anyone but ... but an 11-year-old broken down trotter is named Horse of the Year in South Canterbury. Time to get real about the state of harness racing in the provinces.

    But here’s the problem.
Plod is saying to xxxxx “we’ve got evidence that says you’re guilty of effecting the outcome of an event for pecuniary advantage.....but if you accept diversion or plead guilty you’ll only get a minimal penalty and you’ll save yourself xxxxxx (claimed to be up to $200k in one case ) in legal fees”......but.....then the Racing Incompetence Unit gets the discovered Police evidence ( they’re allowed to ask for all that evidence) ...and they have no idea about PEDs, blood spinning, racing vernacular or race driving.....so they charge you again, and you go before the JCA, but this time it’s not like a criminal court where the threshold is “beyond reasonable doubt” ....at the JCA level it’s “on the balance of probabilities”......so you go from 99% certainty to 51% certainty...and the RIU needs scalps to survive so they’ll throw everything at this, despite there being clear “double jeopardy” to rub people out, and in doing do justify their useless fucked up existence.
The RIU has named those they want to get life already, that’s how fucked this is.....it’s a disgrace to the industry .
If your industry and drivers / trainers association had any guts you’d all strike if any person found not guilty in a court of Law, or has all charges dropped, is charged again in front of the JCA.....and the sooner you get organized to strike until Grimstone and Cruickshank are gone the better, they’re a blight on the industry

If you ask the handicapper he will say that it was the club's decision - if you ask the club they will say the handicapper has the final say ...... it all depends what your name is!

In the last race tonight when u had a 40 to 42 race obviously close in ability did the handicapper allow a 49 that clearly had 2 other  options.
like with like ignored..the 49 won easy..a condition was put in to allow a one won mare on 49 eligibility.this is not a rating system.the other horses shafted .

Need junior claims in most races where  u nominate with a claiming driver who have points claims on wins.so if u have a 3 point claimed and u 55 points u nominate as a 52.not hard.drivers claims dependent on wins.

Who would want to come north for the chance to driver maybe once a week at best with small feilds and not many meetings there’s not real incentive for any South Island junior to move

Unrealistic reserves are the killer (Tardina Stud had the right idea) and the same reason claiming races will never thrive here - people have unrealistic ideas about what their horses are worth.

He wanted to engage, he initiated it, he proudly declared he was “cooperating with the Police & RIU”, he now declines the opportunity to explain the allegations against him....read what you like into that
All my feedback from the industry ( many heavyweights and household names if that matters  ) is positive as they want the identities of those who’re causing the damage to the code exposed.....and the same few names keep coming up...MH is one of those names

    Hi Michael
Given that you’re being so transparent, and that’s much appreciated, could you advise us what your relationship is with Mike Godber, how often you’ve talked since Inca erupted, exactly what you talked about, whether you’re “supporting or assisting” the RIU, and finally, would you be kind enough to share every email from Mike Godber to you, and you to him, or any entity with which you’re both associated.
    Thanks

Does the money raised in this go back to funding racing and stakes or do the top brass want a salary increase, I think the latter.
