You have to wonder why it was done...do they not want winter racing in the south...or is Riccarton so stuffed it could not have recovered after the meeting...seems rules for some and rules for others. -

I can tell you they have smashed all the offers , the no deductions , used to offer bonus back on 4 races at 4 meetings for 2/3/4 , slowly shrunk through 3 meetings , and now just 2 races at one NZ meeting and only for horses finishing 2nd and 3rd . Welcome to the world of no competition , will only get worse . even the meeting with boosted odds on all races , I find if I put a bet on early they close all the other races to me for the boosted odds , I have to put my selections on my bet slip so I don't lose the better odds . One of the many reasons I don't bet as much or every week . -
