If the horse was moved to better ground and still finished last, then at least you know it's horse performance and not rider-related. Connections will have to go to the well again, not knowing if their horse had an off day, or if it was never given any chance to succeed. -

I know there's a mate of George Simon's who likes to embarrass him. Anita Pea and Ima Plonker spring to mind.

so again, if it had been in better part and still not handled it , what she to do ,some times its whats under you that creates the ride your going give it cracks me up looking at the horses heavy win came when over raced on home track n best runs come less than 1200m with a fluke win over 1400m that suggests shes obviously difficult horse n using claim

If Australian sprinting form is considered good on a global stage, you would expect him to win this race. I'm not so sure Aus form is as good as it used to be, as shown by how many 3rd-rate Europeans come and have success, but we shall see! -

No Mr Gee - that's not the point. The horse wasn't handling the track because it was on the rail throughout the entire race. It was racing on a Heavy 20 when the rest were on a Heavy 10. There was no effort made to get the horse involved in the race. I'm not bagging the jockey, I'm just hoping that, with time, her in-race skills improve. She rode the next winner much better, and that's the type of riding she should at least attempt every ride. Punters lose faith, and when punters lose faith in the product, the entire industry suffers. Some jockeys have great technique but aren't as good at riding tactically. Then you have jockeys like James McDonald, who are excellent at both, which is why he succeeds. You have jockeys like Wiremu Pinn, who are technically good, but lack the tactical abilities of the McDonald's of this world. If McDonald sat on the rail every time he drew barrier one and never made a move to get off the rail, he would be another so-so jockey. -
