MEADOWLANDS

15 posts in this topic

Big day there on Sunday (our time).  Dexter in action along with Bettor Joy, Shartin & Seaswift Joy.  Dexter has a great chance of winning Meadowlands Pace with C Ryder trained runner.   Plenty of NZ interest but will the TAB take betting on the meeting? Or show races on Trackside? Not likely.   Tab people not interested in Harness.

They would rather stream a race from Shartin or a greyhound race in some small Aussie town where we have no form to he[p pick a winning bet, They create no interest in punting with build up to races, just a quick buck mentilaty and this bunch of morons are funding stakes. DOOM ahead

Dexter got beat near the wire by a 25-1 long shot Best in Show who came up the rails. He is by Bettor's Delight out of the formerly Chris Ryder trained double millionaire Put on a show.

They went nuts up front getting to the half in 52 4/5ths and 3/4 in 1:19 and change and walked home in like 29 for a time of 1:48.

Dexter was parked out when Captain Crunch went to the lead.  Tetrick (Workin ona Mystery) should have won as he vacated the trail and pulled wide. This actually allowed Best in Show to come up the rail and win

Dexter wins a $126,500 stakes race on Millies Possesion who is 7 for 7. 3yo filly trotter.   Slow half in 57 and change and he was 4th in single file and moved up to sit outside leader and wore it down near finish.  This is a really nice filly.  Jim Campbell trains her. He also won the big Trot tonight with Crystal Fashion who beat the champion filly Atlanta.

Jim Campbell is John Campbell's brother

Thanks   TTT for our updates....Is there a website/blog or similar where one can keep up to date with

Double D's achievements in America?....There is limited news coming thru on Cran Dalgety's website and on

this site.  Would appreciate some info  as to where else one can follow him...There is virtually no

interest in his efforts on the mainstream news media.
