Here's one in Tokyo tonight.

Shita Pants

Brown gelding by William Shatners Pants

Suffered the worst of runs on debut, but bowled along in front 2nd up and proved hard to pass. Expected to wipe them tonight.

To be fair, it wasn't the best of runs - got squeezed out on the turn

Did the jockey have to let it go early?

The stipes report did contain something about skid marks - I thought it was from a track inspection but maybe not

he actually got disqualified because he weighed in overweight lol get it....coz he had a bit extra in his pants

didn't quite have the effect I was going for, in fact that was a rather crappy attempt, think i'll leave it to the experts

Didn't really stretch out in the straight finisning fifth.

I think it was just going through the motions.

When the stipes viewed the film, they thought it might be a Close Encounter of the Turd Kind.

A greyhound trainer I knew had a favourite expression  when something ran badly.

"Ran like a busted arsehole".

Never heard that expression before or since.

yep, the only time i followed greyhounds was when he was racing, i would always be giggling listening to the commentary

Yes the first time I heard the commentary, I had to go check the fields, as I thought I was hearing things, was also one racing in aussie called cheese zee elmut, or something similar. Surprised how they get through.

There was something similar to this going around in NZ a while back that my industrial deafness couldn't decipher clearly.
