Amazingly Azawary went on to win 5 out of his next 7 starts once he finally broke through and won a maiden race. And went on to win a Sydney Cup !!! -

Not sure they are actually necessary. The music played at night and during Aussie racing is better. Gives you time to study the form - its all there on screen, without some clown wittering on in the background.

Clearly did not do his form…. The leader was always the better stayer….. as result also showed….. it was a poor judgement to cover extra ground…. When he didn’t have to….. where did the winner position turning for home…. -
Dyak went on to win 8 more races including the 1972 Chalmers Handicap at Trentham ridden by Bill Skelton. Goes to prove that the odd horse is not a lost cause!

The all time classic was Dyak who won his first race at his 54th start in a 11f Highweight at Ellerslie on the 1/1/72 ridden by Harry Green. His dam Swanee won the 1949 Auckland Cup ridden by Mark Martinovich for Cambridge trainer Wally Pratt.

You are correct it did. My original point was John in his stipes comment said he thought the leader would not get him to the passing lane which was an error of judgement or a lack of analyzing the form. -

Well, what was the biggest Biden story on Friday? It was the release of those excruciating audio excerpts from his conversations with Robert Hur back in 2023.” “You have that [audio release] as one element of the timing here,” Stelter continued. “And then you have this book coming out… one of the biggest political books in several years.” So it's possible he has had prostate cancer for a long time but it was not disclosed to the public until a distraction was required , it's a real possibility .
