  1. I had an inrace bet in that particular race had winner to run in 3 and sam to run in 4 , paying bit over 2 dollars it look like it was just over a length ahead but very hard angle to judge, I did take a hiding for the rest of the day though. Track looked more like a grit Track on the second day with typical grass track horses running appropriately unfortunately.
  2. The rule is called lapped on, which basically is if the breaking horse is one length ahead of the nearest rival it doesn't get relegated as long as it doesn't breach the distance of the break regulations.
  3. Wilson House is a very articulate well spoken young man and certainly deserves every success whether its driving or training in the future.
  4. Pretty sure she is here after the miracle mile , but I'll find out for sure.
  5. Unfortunately there are a few young trainers like Brad they are our future and it's bloody tuff out there.
  6. Put thru 76,000 last time they ran the nz punters comp at Addington about 6 years ago, won Methven punters comp 3 times same as Gasso , now probably only about 1, 000 a week , concentrating more on ownership and breeding a couple, far bigger gamble.
  7. Can't wait to see the Dynamite videos, actually last weeks beach video on very majestic has gone past 41,000 , maybe you could pay me Dynamite. Saturday's are at the beach because that's where my horses are , currently 5 just giving Lobster a spell so down 0ne. Who else promotes our industry for nothing. How many club's do you volunteer on , how many owners have you bought into our industry for no financial gain . Next time you tell me what I should be doing please enlighten us to what you bring to the table.
  8. You obviously don't watch alot of my interviews, every time I talk to Blair i refer to him as number 1 , only bets i had on premiership was for trainers so it was good to get a just under 12,000 top up my tab account a month before the end of the season. Blair certainly sets the bench mark high the travel he does is incredible.
  9. Closer to home Reefton grass track nominations look good.
  10. You would think 75% of the horse's that travel would have no expectation of winning so why , you would think a holiday, lesser class of opposition trainers and horse's, loyalty to a region they always support .Financially makes no sense but if you were in it for the money you wouldn't have horse's.
  11. It's a series where you had to start six times unless you were a 2yr old , i think the main point was that all the money is going to the owners for a change and as for subsidizing you could probably name the clubs on one hand that aren't being subsidized.

Understatement of the year ' balance quite right yet' sure we need aspirational races but in my opinion we are way out of wack. The vast majority of our horse's struggle to win a race and alot of our hobby trainers are disappearing , their aspiration is in fact winning one race so I'm yet to be convinced that the best insensitive we ever had wasn't the first win bonus. How about stopping the failing breeder bonuses have one well thought out incentive and look after the people that actually race the horse's.

Not having a local meeting on Sunday's in canterbury is total madness, they have local horse's saving money for owners, plenty of tracks to choose from and generate great income. What is it that I'm not seeing.
  14. I have won it three times but can't be to greedy just need the big 888 bet to come hone at the end of the season.
  15. Absolutely the golden rule
