I think a bigger problem is that re ratings have been published very badly the above horse was dropped from rating 46 to 40 unless you go looking for it how would you know , it's not in the race book.

Unfortunately bounce just didn't back up after last weeks run.

Bounce will be better in a years time, I'm real pleased how he has strengthened up but time will be his friend.

There are very few chasing the money, they usually get found out pretty quick . We certainly are in the entertainment business but are competing with alot of other's. Unfortunately we struggle with aging facilities and lack of investment in on-course activities to keep people entertained. Forty minute breaks between racing on Sundays does nothing to encourage people to attend, without getting people to the races breeding numbers will continue to drop ownership numbers are deceiving we see the number increasing but the number we race reducing simple message get people back on track it's just not rocket science.

Unfortunately running 3rd would be about break even for a weeks training, the advertised stakes are only paid out to a full field so 8000 becomes 7000 then take out trainers and drivers percentage then travel costs , see where I'm going.
