  1. I think you know Iraklis many of the ATC members dont even attend the Auckland Cup, let alone an ordinary race night, so they dont really know or see what happening. It's like the Local Body elections, they vote for the incumbent without really knowing why. I believe there will be some "interesting" questions asked tonight - whether they will be truthfully answered or not remains to be seen but anyone who is a member should attend tonight if they have any interest in their club. The present situation must not be allowed to continue is for certain.
  2. Get rid of night rugby during the wet, cold, windy winter - I'm sure that would help.
  3. Once Again AB's gifted possession & points through inaccurate kicking. Their long kicks were usually returned by hard running followed by mauling. And under present rules very difficult to gain a turnover without infringing. And kicks to touch also gives up possession. Was good to see the Wallabies using the tap penalty. albeit while hooker Yellow carded. Eliminates all those thousand of reasons you can lose your advantage at line out or scrim. And a lot of time can be saved.
  4. Mounga had a reasonable game until late when AB's 7 or so points ahead and just needed to hold on when he had a brain fade and kicked ahead instead of keeping ball in hand. Aussies took his kick and stormed back & scored converted try in corner. Then blow me he kicked ahead again, AB's give penalty in ruck and over went a penalty. Surely the word was out that they should keep control of ball, not gift it away!!
  5. Quite an impressive list. This must be costing us all quite a packet. Good to see some Republic supporters there too. I do note however one New Zealander has been sighted in the "front row" but is not on the list - is his trip also funded by the Taxpayers?? 6. As with the last Olympic Games, the first question asked of all Kiwi Medal winners as soon as they exit the playing patch (Velo, Pool, etc. out of breath ) is "How Does It Feel". Very amateurish in my opinion. How Would you feel just having won - and it probably not even sunk in!! Get a little inventive Kiwi reporters - perhaps interviews should be left until at least the competitor has settled down after possibly their biggest sporting ordeal.
  7. HRNZ have learned from the politicians. The answer could be the same - outski next elections!!

    RIB News

It is standard practice that all stables are inspected regularly. Nothing sinister!!
  10. This week is "week four". Let's see what the outcome is next Mon/Tues
  11. And in the meantime Pukekohe and Ruakaka will be over used
  12. No wonder they built so many Ambulances in a great hurry!
  13. But don't worry Scooby - the Racing Board will close more racecourses over the next year!
  14. Wow - the Kiwi Stipes would just love that victory salute. But you can bet they would find a rule against it and hand out a suspension.
  15. OK TM. I presume you will be dodging the cameras. No doubt you will in the TAB where they can't find you. Or the Lone Star?
  16. Are the ATC encouraging patrons NOT to turn up to Alex Park?
  17. I pricked my bubble years ago. One of Jacinda's momentous innovations for the country (LOL)
  18. Two comments TM - They tried the Auckland Cup in winter before - and we all know the results there. Give it 3 to 5 years - will harness in the north last that long? Oh yes - why worry about Aussie - they dont worry about us. Inters proof there
  19. Has this "marketing" tool been scrapped in the North - to be honest haven't been to Cambridge for a while but they appear to have vanished from Auckland.
  20. Perhaps they got no noms
  21. I think you know the answer to that (LOL) - in the north the gallops wanted harness closed down although in a couple of areas the two codes do work in harmony. For the South Island I wouldnt hazard a guess - perhaps you can answer that.
