    Depends whether you race a dog for fun or a living Fun, you can have as many starts as you like, if its a hobby For a living, we used to give a dog 7 starts to win its maiden otherwise we sold them and freed up a kennel - maidens are sometimes hard races to win as the pups are inexperienced and can get into a fair but of trouble

    If Greyhounds New Zealand are looking for a template to copy or get ideas from then you cant go past Greyhound Racing Victoria or just GRV should drag it up on net.. Fantastic site covers everything, video of races normally 24 to 48 hours after races.. GNZ should have a serious look at it... exactly what we need here in paradise

    Incorrect mate. Did a little research and you couldn't say they don't effect fertility. "Anabolic steroids in equines can cause increased aggressive and dominant behavior. They can also impair fertility and cause fillies and mares to show masculine behaviors. In stallions, anabolic steroids may shrink the size of the testicles and lead to lower sperm production. In young horses, anabolic steroids may affect normal bone growth."

    Our girl has had 54 starts for 12 placings. Pretty much paid most of her own way and that's all you can ask for. Just come back from season and hoping for that win this time.

    Ok he was quite a good racehorse but hey, this stallion market is just out of control. How is a stallion worth $36 Million?! 10 Million I believe he is worth in reasonable terms and a fee of 20-30K Aussie as his opening fee. Some people have more money than cents.......
