I am totally over them and I am starting to think that the majority of the world is too.

I wonder who of you is now against or in agreement?

Israel didn't start this round of fighting that's a fact . Now you must admit the hand held device was tactic was brilliant only the Iranian backed Hezbollah held these devices and no doubt the attacks Hezbollah has endured will have dented any confidence they may have had . What do you expect Israel do ??? , doing nothing guarantees the death of many Jews and the total destruction of Israel , wiped off the map where are the surviving Jews supposed to go they have been there for 4000 years .

The US would LOVE any reason to get into Iran, they have attacked most other Countries for their resources so there is no stopping them now...Using Ukraine to indirectly Attack Russia is the pre cursor. Worrying times

Just for you Insider and worth a read , and perhaps you might help you have a better understanding of Israels position , it's essentially life or death with zero support from the enemy for a two state solution , a solution that would betray their beliefs .

Extracts  ,  Israel’s Complete and Utter Destruction  The covenant opens with a message that precisely encapsulates Hamas’s master plan. Quoting Hassan al-Banna, the Egyptian founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, of which Hamas is a constituent member (Article 2), the document proclaims, “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”

After some general explanatory language about Hamas’s religious foundation and noble intentions, the covenant comes to the Islamic Resistance Movement’s raison d’être: the slaughter of Jews. “The Day of Judgement will not come about,” it proclaims, “until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.”

Article 11 spells out why this annihilation of Jews is required. Palestine is described as an “Islamic Waqf”—an endowment predicated on Muslim religious, education, or charitable principles and therefore inviolate to any other peoples or religions. Accordingly, the territory that now encompasses Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank is consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day.

Article 12 links the exclusive Muslim right to the land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River with the religious obligation incumbent upon all Muslims to wage a war of religious purification. “Nothing in nationalism is more significant or deeper than in the case when an enemy should tread Moslem land. Resisting and quelling the enemy becomes the individual duty of every Moslem , male or female”

Can you imagine if NZ had Sharia law like some parts of England, think about the LGBT alphabet folks they would not be running around with their rainbow flags and pedestrian crossings and they would need Winstone's quarry to stone to death the unfaithful women.

If the Muslims wiped out Israel, do you think for one minute they would stop there, or would you hear the chant Death to America?

The rest of the Christian world should be rushing to help Israel.

The leftwing  politicians in the western world do their best to deny Religion/ Christianity exists so don't expect any help from them, surprisingly religion is still quite strong in the USA , probably explains some of the backing for Israel .

Here we go again , the lack of depth in Labours thinking is stunning , we all know this is a terrible situation  but what is Israel supposed to do, Hamas and Hezbollah use the civilians as human shields and are supported by some of those people , this is a war with huge religious influence , extreme none negotiable beliefs . Israel is fighting for it's entire existence , lose and be wiped off the map , any thoughts of a two state solution will never happen , its a political dream by world politicians who can't accept reality or those who want to weaken Israel , Victory is Israels only choice .

Labour Party MP Damien O’Connor isn’t apologising after reposting a video on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) of a former high-standing American official saying “Palestinians had every right to do what they did on October 7″.

O’Connor, who is Labour’s associate foreign affairs spokesman, removed the post from his account after Act called on the party’s leader Chris Hipkins to tell his MP to either retract it and apologise or stand down from his role. But a statement from O’Connor didn’t include an apology.

So massacring 1200 unarmed defenseless  human beings is just fine according to Oconner .

Had to laugh last week when a Pro-Palestine activist waving a flag in Australia was asked about the "From the River to the Sea" slogan.

Reporter--"What river would that be?"

Hijabed one--" Jordan"

Reporter  "And what sea would that be?"

Hijabed one--" The Red Sea"   🤣  (Probably a climate activist as well with that level of ignorance)

There were 4 people tonight at the Roundabout by McDonald's in Kaitaia with a placard saying "free the hostages".... so Hamas supposedly hit a dance party with 1,000 casualties....15,000 kids are now dead in Gaza........I'm no rocket Scientist but this reduces the likely hood of release somewhat🙄 these Arabs are complex but US backed Arabs are Plexcom 4

To be fair Gruff you can't ignore Iran in all of this evil , they are the ones controlling  bankrolling these terrorist groups , I guess if we were to pick sides it's the USA for me . I Watched a program yesterday which stated if the Iranian backed groups exited the country's they effectively control peace in the middle east would flourish quite rapidly

You are welcome to hold a vigil for the 40, 000 ( Hamas figures which includes about 17,000 plus terrorists) whenever you like crustyngrizzly but will that stop this whole situation from carrying on ?? . Now what is your solution to this problem and please don't waste your time talking about a 2 state solution , it's been rejected several times before , the militants are totally  committed to the annihilation of Israel and to kill all Jews , let's hear your solution

On 7 April, the IDF said that more than 13,000 operative of Hamas and its allies had been killed by Israel in Gaza in the fighting (although an IDF press release gave 12,000+), in addition to the 1,000 killed on 7 October. The IDF said these deaths included five Hamas brigade commanders or equivalent, 20 battalion commanders, and over 100 company commanders or equivalent.[95][96][97] On May 12 Netanyahu said about 14,000 militants and 16,000 civilians had been killed in Gaza - that about 47% of the deaths were of militants.[79] On August 15 2024 the IDF claimed more than 17,000 militants had been killed.[98]

Never said i had a solution so i won't take your bait.Have plenty of opinions which i will express when i feel the need.

Great looking forward to hearing them  but solutions  are needed now , Israels choice  surrender and be wiped out , that's the only choice the rest is political B/S from politicians who know they can't solve the problem .

History Lesson and a great move this was 17 years ago and thanks to Israel the Syria threat was removed , look out Iran , Israel might be about to do the world another favor .

After more than a decade of secrecy, Israel has confirmed it has conducted a 2007 military raid on what was believed to be a Syrian nuclear reactor. a stealth operation that lasted four hours overnight on September 5 to 6, 2007.

“The message from the attack on the nuclear reactor in 2007 is that the State of Israel will not allow the establishment of capabilities that threaten Israel’s existence,” said Israeli army chief of staff Gadi Eizenkot.

“This was our message in 2007, this remains our message today and will continue to be our message in the near and distant future,” he added.

MIKENZ Imust be a bit thick because i have no idea what Israels objectives are.

I do have a bit of advice for HAMMAS, don't let go of the hostages until they release the 9k political prisoners Israel are holding.

Pretty clear what Israel's objective's are....decimate Hamas and weaken Hezbollah's ability to strike back..... in return for a few years of relative calm.

There is no solution.

The Palestinians have rejected a two state solution multiple times. They want the Jews gone or preferably dead.

But the fact remains the Jews are the indigenous people of that land and have every right to be there.

And don't tell me I'm a bit thick Hamas advisor.

Speaking of prisoner swaps how was this for a monumental mistake ,

Yahya Sinwar ,Israeli officials have described Sinwar—who grew up in southern Gaza, joined Hamas in the late 1980s and gained recognition as the founder of the group’s intelligence arm—as the mastermind behind Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel.

In 1989, Sinwar was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences for abducting and murdering two Israeli soldiers, and served in an Israeli prison—reportedly learning Hebrew there—until his 2011 release, which was part of a massive prisoner swap in which Israeli officials freed more than 1,000 prisoners in exchange for Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who had been captured by Hamas.

Since his release from prison, Sinwar has been involved in multiple rounds of fighting against Israel, including an 11-day crisis in May 2021, when Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad launched rockets at Israel and Israel conducted airstrikes in Gaza.

Sinwar said in that speech he would come for Israel “God willing, in a roaring flood” and “with endless rockets” and “millions of our people, like the repeating tide,”
