Well I don't know if everyone is guilty as there's only been his 3 and the Dunns ones that have failed tests lately , to me that's only a couple of guilty trainers ?

Is it innocent tho if a horse they present to the races has drugs in its system which fails a test limits . I’m not saying either person did it on purpose but under the rules they are guilty of not presenting a horse to the races free of drugs

Pretty sure if this Cambridge meeting was held at a grass track as has been the case for god know how many years I’m certain they’d have got a lot more than the 80 odd noms for the meeting.

I wonder if Auckland are still crying looking the the noms this week, lucky for Cambridge Auckland didn’t have a maiden races. On Sunday as have Cambridge a chance to get some noms thatcouldnt go elsewhere

As an Owner id much rather race at Auckland for bigger stakes and small fields. At Auckland you can run 4th and get more stakes than Cambridge’s 3rd place getters (maybe different for the one or two meetings a year Cambridge so generously lift their stakes above the shit they normally race for . In a full feild at Cambridge it’s harder to run top 3 than it is just having to beat 3 or 4 home to run 4th in an Auckland Race.

Auckland will be around for a lot longer than Cambridge will. I don’t think they are too concerned they’ll still make more money off corporate tables than cambridge could ever imagine.

UDR rating is ok but doesn’t lead a full picture as Say a hobbie driver could be driving horses who would be highly ranked by many to finish in the bottom 1/3 of the feild yet they may often drive it very well and finish say 4th 5th or 6th so has probly driven it very well to finish higher than many expect but because they haven’t run in the first 3 the udr is .000 for that drive. Some horses Barrring accident just have no chance in some fields doesn’t mean the driver has always driven it poorly

Would’ve thort if it was lame it would’ve galloped at some stage maybe just didn’t handle a trip away that well or didn’t handle the track I see the stipes report the second day doesn’t same anything about being lame tho?

Are you suggesting that’s trainers on these types of private tracks have never thought of the leader rolling off the fence to allow a horse to slip up the inside and create a passing lane type effect on a private track. Surely you don’t think trainers are that simple they never teach a horse different things

$95 plus extras a day ? I still think well worth it for the right horse, obviously they only take on decent horses so your lucky enough to have a horse they a willing to train i say jump at the chance

Don’t worry Timothy I have already sent my application in as I hear the pay is pretty good and if most cases are as simple as this incompetent charge it should be money jam . I do hope if things don’t go your way with this case you won’t pack the shits and threaten to sell up and give all your horses away as countless times we have seen on public forums you state this yet you still don’t follow thru with your promises

I think it's was the rule where she failed to give her horse all reasonable and permissible chance of finishing in best possible position , by the stipes report it's when she pulled out from the 800 rather than sitting and waiting abit longer from what I read of it but who would really know. Probly deserves a couple months holiday And another amatuer sitting on the sidelines

The hardest part now is that the tracks have been set up to be as fast as possible it takes mid race moves almost out of play, Especailly in big money races where a lot more good horses are capable of running fast even sectional. Deeper slower tracks with create more action in races .With the right person on the job they could grade the tracks to mark the running line slightly deeper and thin it out the wider your get. Which would allow back wide runners a chance to get closer and potentially more horses in the frame for photo finishers. It doesn't have to be a noticeable different so the leaders run half way up the track to get better ground but the slightest depth difference could create great racing.With tracks so hard and fast now going wide cost you so much more ground than it should which makes races boring as leaders generally finish ahead of the pack with out much challengers up the straight.

They rule as it stands is ok and simple enough to understand. Sure there will be first time offenders still getting caught but when you see drivers getting charged 3-4 times those drivers either aren't learning ,don't care or are just plain stupid . It's not like the rule says 3 hits before the 400 4 hits before the 300 and so on . It's maximum 10 from the 400m to the post . Maybe the suspension for for repeat offenders could be longer

Pretty sure the trainer and drivers wanted no acceptance fees on any races and Auckland tc was the same but the nz metro were against it eEspecailly in group 1 as it would've made there nz cup not look as attractive

They are allowed to race on the drug lasix tho
