Racing, League and LPGA for me. But my god the golf watch can be infuriating if you can only watch it live (I have MySky but sometimes try the live version) Absolutely bombarded with Sky, advertising Sky FFS - I think I would actually see some products promoted than the 'Groundhog Day on Speed' of what's coming up on Sky. On numerous occasions I have seen them run 3 to 4 minutes of their own adverts, cross for THREE shots, then go back to another 3 to 4 minutes of .....SKY ADS. FFS There, got that off my chest now 😀 -
WD the very sad fact is racing is not celebrated in our country these days and the Media add logs to the fire, deliberately. The media would rather comment on greyhounds dying, INCA or the use of whips in horse racing …. Media know the negative shyte is received better where racing is concerned Just the way it is these days

I so wish you were correct but i'd be dreaming, sadly the demise has been somes officianado's plan for a number of yrs helped along by a few curtailed by the "ill informed' do gooder movement worldwide who have & are figthing to have it & all racing closed. Succeeded in doing in Sth Is apart from National week, which last yr only 2 jumps racedays now with Wed being all on flat. How long for?? Cost of attending & sending jumpers to GN is prohibitive to some so Nth Is IT with a few tracks retaining them, so darn sad for the BEST part of game I LOVE. Anyone's guesstimation how long NI survives. bit like tracks & winter's not hit. May be bogged down in more than just Heavy10 & not just alluding to track lol -
I wouldn't say Sky are in deep shit, just being more selective, they are running a business and unlike most media organizations are making profits, if they buy more product and have stagnant subscribers then they make losses. The next broadcast deal with NZRFU is going to be very interesting. Same for NZ Cricket.

Absolutely because she was an old time girl, just like myself. p.s. One exception JF Kennedy, but we all make mistakes.

Trials at Waverley for about the 15th week in a row in the CD. (That’s including the “unofficial” jump outs at Levin which are every bit as good as the “official” ones. A quick glance at the entries showed NO Waikato entries tomorrow which is the first time for many weeks. Obviously Waipa on the grass is the answer to that.

The reality is that no one anywhere really has the answers to the big problems , or if they do don't want to utilize them .

So, Insider tell me, Liz Taylor was married many times. Was this because she believed in no sex before marriage?

Especially with the AWOL Bruce Sharrock in control! Maybe he's been over in Australia striking up a deal [with the outgoing] because we all know that Andrew Jones has been gone for weeks! You cant beat the man with the Red and White Stripes!

I am not sticking up for the news on either channel, but I really think that main stream news outlets think that jockeys are 'only the passenger' and the horse is the real hero therefore the jockey's success is irrelevant. Add to that, the silent majority are starting to believe that any horse in competition is there against it's will, so should be banned. [Just saying....not agreeing]

Mainstream media has no interest in racing. The only reason there are “stories” in the Herald are because NZME is pocketing six-figures to do so.

I was in England early 70s so just missed that one however the world has moved on . Quote , After more than 20 years, the 'mad cow' blood donation restriction will be removed on 29 February. Now where else am I mad , covid jabs? , flu jab ? or forking out for a possible/probable (maybe) life extender , it seems likely tomorrow is decision time on that one , if after the first scans and tests I am confirmed as a candidate then it's spend $35k to see if it works, if it proves to be working then front up for round 2 , fortunately I have made a few $s on the horses over the years so I don't have to cash up assets , interesting times for me . -
Bottom line nothing changes till next election, or doesn't, just don't see the point and the polls, are irrelevant. Just my thoughts, shar

The above post is 'copy and pasted' from an email that I recieved tonight. At least he realises the SHIT that they are in, unlike the skinhead church going idiot. Bring back the Government for the people...please.

http://assets.nationbuilder.com/themes/65a733608e2ea0043bde459d/attachments/original/1712279184/generic-header.png?1712279184 Dear Liz, Some Governments get a honeymoon from the media, others get an inflation hangover. Tonight’s 1News Verian poll shows the latter, with all governing parties down, and Labour 30% , Green 14%, Māori 4% out in front of ACT 7%, National 36%, NZF 4%. People are understandably upset about the cost of living, interest rates, and soft economy. We don’t just see that, we feel it. Here’s the risk: If enough voters punish this Government for the inflation and debt of the last one, New Zealand will get the bad medicine back. By the time people finally realise it doesn’t work, it will be too late. What’s become clear today is that Labour, who should be banished, could be back. And back with two very bad sidekicks. Every day in Government, ACT is taking the necessary steps to clean up Labour's mess. And our team is working towards 2026 to make sure your voice and values are represented, but we can’t do it without you. Donate now to help us reach past the media and talk directly to people like you. Just $50 can help spread our message to 5000 more voters like you. You put ACT in the Beehive and day by day, we are dealing to the waste, red tape, and discrimination left by consecutive governments. ACT’s MPs are working hard for you so you can make a difference in your own life.
