How long before the tough runs that Got The Chocolates has had take a toll, Pure mate? It's an average crop but if he's driven like that against more competitive fields how long will he last? He'll break down or go sour? How many Art Majors have won the Cup? -

But they dont fit the agenda. Nah we can do this racing thing with less tracks, just use them more and when they are stuffed and Riccarton cant handle a meeting put up the stakes and force everyone to use the Poly. They got no other options so the owners and trainers will have to fall into line. -

And sadly the board is full of members of the Old boys club...Self interest first,,,racing interests second. I think the corporate mentality is so entrenched now nobody has the guts to say hey are you sure this is right for fear of getting shown the door from the gravy train. -

At the next Asian Racing Conference Matt Ballsey will be salivating about these stake increases. Will be totally silent about multiple race winners competing for a derisory $17,000. Maidens at fourth or fifth tier meetings in Victoria or NSW race for double that amount.
