    • I suppose that you and the other Wackos are in full agreement that Trump should annex Canada. Of course, this is not going to happen as Canada is fighting back, which is the only way to deal with a bully. No doubt you also agree that Trump should take over Greenland. The West has spent the last 100 years fighting off dictators who want to take over other countries and now the West has their own dictator.
    • surely to goodness they should have 2 x semi Finals? and the top 5 from each go through to the Final. Gets them all trying a bit then . To make sure they qualify. Like they do QLD, NSW and Vic in their each state Sires stakes racing each year.  Some runners have missed a spot at Addington ? . Better to have 2 x $25,000  Semi's , than just 1 x $50,000 one ? Costs the same money to run. and you might get a better final with a clash of the Semi Final winners/ Placegetter's too.
    • Are you talking about the same loco man that still professes to this day that he won the previous election, when he clearly didn't? Yes, he was elected this time, and l don't see anybody denying it like some Republican nutters denied Biden's win 4 years before.  Nobody can deny Biden will go down in history as a useless former President for many reasons, but that doesn't mean his replacement is something "special". I actually disagree with that; he's "special" alright, however l don't mean that as being complimentary in any way, shape or form. He will definitely achieve some stuff better than Biden, but then the deaf, dumb and blind kid playing the Pinball machine in Tommy could do just as well. According to the likes of 100 1 Trump was pulling all the strings behind the scenes over the last 4 years, so he's currently in year 9 of a 12 year reign. He'd better achieve something soon eh what?
    • Just looked at that field and I wouldn't be backing Marketplace to win . Even top 3 going to be tough especially if Five Crowns leads and they don't go hard
    • the administration admitted was wrongly deported to El Salvador    , that part is true but not wrongly deported the mistake was sending him to El Salvador , a previous judge said deport him but because of dangers from rival gangs, send him anywhere but not El Salvador
    • He certainly talks or mumbles a lot….gibberish mainly….but then he is 78…….
    • Compared to Biden he is sensational , how many press interviews did Biden do in 4years ??, communication with the public is important , you can sort out Trumps BS for your self but when it comes to Biden you were told nothing for 4 years .
    • 'He can't possibly be stumped': Professor tears into Trump's 'totally ridiculous' claim….. Over the weekend, President Donald Trump claimed not to know that he had to uphold the Constitutional guarantee of due process under the law in his interview with NBC's Meet the Press. Now, a constitutional law expert is calling him out. During a Monday interview with CNN host Jake Tapper, Harvard Law professor emeritus Laurence Tribe — who is also the co-founder of the American Constitution Society — pointed out that there was nothing complicated about the due process clauses in the 5th and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution. And he opined that Trump was trying to feign ignorance in order to consolidate power. "He can't possibly be stumped. You don't have to be a lawyer. All you have to do is be able to read," Tribe said. "It says that all persons are entitled to due process. And it certainly says that all officials of the state and federal governments are bound to support the Constitution. It's a simple as that."   "He takes an oath to uphold it and then he says he doesn't know if he has to uphold it? That's totally ridiculous and it's dangerous because it's trying to normalize the idea that he is outside and above the law," he continued. "But nobody is above the law in this country." Trump's comments were in the context of the ongoing showdown between the Trump administration and the Supreme Court in the case of Kilmar Albrego Garcia, who the administration admitted was wrongly deported to El Salvador in March. The Supreme Court issued a 9-0 ruling ordering Trump to "facilitate" the return of Abrego Garcia back to the United States, though the administration's lawyers have claimed that their hands are tied since Abrego Garcia is now in another jurisdiction. When the court says nine to nothing that he's got to facilitate the turn of Garcia, and then [Trump advisor] Stephen Miller, who, by the way isn't a lawyer, says, 'oh, Mr. President, that doesn't mean you have to do anything,' that shows that they can just turn the thing upside down," Tribe said. "It's an Alice-in-Wonderland world where, if they don't want to do what the Supreme Court tells them to do, they pretend the Supreme Court told them the opposite. That's not the world that any of us grew up in, and it's a world that is made for dictators. But this country is not ruled by a dictator." "Who determines whether somebody is deportable? Who determines whether somebody doesn't belong here or is a violent criminal? Certainly not the president. He can't be judge, jury, executioner all at once," he added. "He's trying to take unto himself the powers of every branch of government including now the judicial branch."

    • Dee off the mark in Japan Ben Sporle@bensporle   5 May, 2025 Jockey Mick Dee (Image: Racing Photos) Michael Dee can now tick Japan off the list of countries he has been succesful in, after partnering his first winner at Tokyo on Sunday. Having also ridden winners in Macau and Hong Kong, as well as his native New Zealand and Australia, the 28-year-old got the best out of Ask Come On More in the Fuchu Stakes at his fourth meeting in Japan. Speaking to Racing.com, Dee said it was a relief after five placegetters to get the $2.40 favourite home, having also had to overcome a riderless horse in the straight. "It was a huge relief to get my first winner. My first day riding, I had three seconds, so naturally I thought a winner would've come quickly but that wasn't to be for another 20-odd rides," Dee said. "I've felt I have given most horses every opportunity and some at big odds have run nice races with the right run. "I have been lucky with opportunities, my first weekend riding I had 18 rides and this weekend just gone I had 20 rides. I just need to keep giving horses the best possible chances and hopefully I can get on some better horses." WATCH: Dee wins aboard Ask Come On More Dee said he is basing himself in Tokyo and has been riding trackwork at the Miho Training Centre multiple times a week. With final fields for the weekend's racing released each Friday, jockeys in Japan are then placed under restrictions across the weekend's racing - which requires riders to hand in communication devices. "I have enjoyed all of my experiences so far, it's hard to explain the differences but everything is completely different to Australia or New Zealand, whether it's the amount of people in one small space or even the racing and some of the rules take a little adjusting," he explained. "I have a great agent and manager/interpreter who have made my life super easy over here as the language barrier is very tough." Dee expects to have a ride in Sunday's G1 NHK Mile Cup at Tokyo. • That is a big call with only such small numbers racing. Hard to argue though with someone of O" Briens calibre. Will Justify come to the southern hemisphere again? His crop here has had some success but the" best ever in the world "is not justified yet , pardon the pun. Time will tell.
    • Sure, he won the 2024 election, that is democracy. However, the lying prick claimed that the previous election was rigged without providing any evidence to the Courts. My point is that you support this prick regardless, ignoring all of his faults. But then you support Acts racist policies, so I guess that the tipping point is that you share his racist views.
    • WHAT MISTAKE , THERE WAS NO MISTAKE , That's where you TDS victims go wrong , you completely fail to recognize the facts , TRUMP WAS ELECTED , HE WON THE ELECTION you don't have to like him but he WON so try to accept that result and in about 3 and 3 quarter years he will be gone , the Trump you describe was well known to the voters but the lefties were caught out lying about Biden to the American people and their replacement candidate was hopeless so effectively no contest . Trumps first 100 days have been sensational and  more has been achieved than the Dems achieved in 8 years. All Trump has to do is finalize the Tariffs and he will go down in history as the greatest President in History , fail and the opposite is likely , again you don't have to like him but he won . .
    • Hi what is everyones thoughts on this schedule for the 2026 Yearling Sales...... 100th National Yearling Sale to Debut New Format 6 May 2025   Karaka 2026 will mark the 100th anniversary of the National Yearling Sales in New Zealand, a significant milestone to celebrate. In an exciting move, NZB is pleased to announce a fitting new sales format, ensuring that the quality of the 100th National Yearling Sales catalogue is in line with the momentous occasion. Book 1 will be conducted across two full days, composed of approximately 580 horses. Book 2 will immediately follow with a further 290 yearlings the following day. While a third session will also be re-introduced with up to 200 yearlings catalogued to sell on the Thursday. To be known as the Karaka Summer Sale, the day prior will be utilised as an inspection day. “Our goal is to assemble the very best lineup of yearlings, validating our annual yearling harvest as the flag bearing sale for New Zealand breeders with the cream of the crop on offer,” commented NZB’s Managing Director Andrew Seabrook. “While the condensed Book 1 and Book 2 will be full days of selling, the format will be highly advantageous from an international buyer’s perspective. They want to be away from home for as little time as possible during what is an extremely busy sales calendar.  “The introduction of the third session is to ensure we have a complete offering for both vendors and buyers, boosted by some attractive sales terms and a $200,000 Karaka Millions bonus.” “The 100 year anniversary is truly an exciting occasion. We are thrilled to be celebrating such a milestone on behalf of the wider industry, and are looking forward to producing one of the best catalogues seen in New Zealand.” Entries for the National Yearling Sales Series open in June, while details for the National Online Yearling Sale are in discussions with timing of that session to be confirmed shortly.
    • John Bary has Party Rocking in as well.
    • Of course, your money is on Trump. You will never admit that you made a mistake by supporting the Clown. You know that he is a habitual liar, a convicted criminal and an election denier to name a few but you will back him to the hilt. When he said that he could kill someone in 5 Avenue and he would not lose any support well that was one of the very few truthful statements he has made.
