Quite extraordinary really. Josh Fleming and Brett Davis are both great callers. They manage to make any race sound exciting and they are very accurate. It just shows the depth in Australian racing that they have so many good callers to choose from. It also shows the mindset of Tabcorp that they are prepared to get rid of the popular face of racing in both those states in the interest of "further efficiencies." If they could eliminate horses, trainers and jockeys as well and just concentrate on the marketing branch everything would run much more smoothly. Elements of that approach are creeping into NZ racing as well. I did read somewhere once that the two Brisbane clubs prefer Fowler and while he is ok, I much prefer Fleming.

As I said still a long way to go to get there...but she can only keep improving.

Ukraine has signed the minerals deal which gives the USA a foot hold in Ukraine and the profits from the deal will be spent on redevelopment and allow Ukraine to purchase weapons from the USA . This all translates to the USA backing Ukraine . Not sure where this leaves Putin but I suspect it will put pressure on him , I doubt he will attack a USA major asset so a settlement might be closer , well done Don .
