Pulchritudinous for mine,EF Saturday. Not far off the winner last start (3.5l over 8f), gets out to 2100 Saturday. Clark sticks. Decent shout at $8s early doors....

Have given up all exotics except one quinella or exacta per Saturday, where I might feel I have an edge.
Bet W/P only, Flemington often a happy place for me. Caulfield and MV horses for courses, as noted already.
NZ tracks....what a bloody lottery. Trentham comically hard to win on, Te Rapa the same. New Ellerslie I have not cracked yet but getting closer to being able to bet there.
Finding value can be hard, but I do love it when the media talks up a horse, or the Sky chatters bang on about a market mover....Years ago someone quite smart, and quite rich (old mate of my Dad's) said to me....."You know, the horses don't know the odds.....".
That has always stuck with me.

Finally, I do get some good tips from on here! So keep them coming punting geniuses.....;)

Sheesh, I am beyond happy! Thought I had cooked it with an average day at Eagle Farm.
Thanks for the comp guys - much appreciated.
Next one looks enticing also! Well done competitors  - most of us are far better tipsters than the ones paid to do it, for my money.....;)

Houlahan's Dream reacted to stodge in Royal Ascot 2025
The entries for next Thursday came through this morning.
Just the one Group 1 race but it’s the Gold Cup over just shy of 4000m, the premier staying race of the European season and in its day the most important race of the Royal meeting.
With KYPRIOS having been retired, the staying division looks ready perhaps for a changing of the guard. Two 4-y-o head the betting with ILLINOIS the 5/4 favourite having won the Queen’s Vase at the meeting last year before going on to be runner up in the Grand Prix de Paris, Voltigeur and English St Leger before winning the Dollar at the Arc meeting. He chased home top European performers in SOSIE, LOS ANGELES and JAN BRUEGHEL.
This season, ILLINOIS was a fluent winner of the Ormonde at Chester over 2600m. You could argue this will be 1200m further than he has ever raced but Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore are confident he’ll enjoy the extra distance. He faces French raider CANDELARI who won the Vicomtesse Vigier (elevated to Group 1).
TRAWLERMAN represents the established stayers and was second to KYPRIOS last year so we know trip and ground hold no fears and if there are any chinks in the stamina of the younger horses, the Godolphin horse will exploit them.
JAN BRUEGHEL has been left in the race but I doubt he will run.
The supporting Group 2 races are the Norfolk for the speedy juvenile colts and the Ribblesdale, known as the Ascot Oaks, for the classic fillies.
More on these with the final declarations on a busy Tuesday.

I know some of you are members on other forums.
Brent Gardiner/Leggy/Racingoutsider/Curious has tried to malign myself and RaceCafe on these other platforms.
He was placed on moderation here a few months back after he took messages between himself and I and posted them on another forum, for the reason to try to malign me. He then joined here as another identity, secretly, and was caught out last weekend posting under the incorrect name, his fault not mine. I then decided that he would be restricted from posting, not banned for a short period of time as is my right as owner here.
This site costs around 6K a year to keep going and then with the comps, which I mostly fund, so people can have some fun and hopefully get some returns, all up its around 8k a year to keep the lights on here so to speak.
However I am not a doormat and will not be treated as one.
This forum is here for everyone to use but if you choose to disrespect me or the platform I am sorry it will no longer be tolerated and I will ask you to leave. I do not do this so people can criticize me or the forum, it is for people with similar interests to enjoy and if some have issue with how I choose to run my own site then sorry I will be unapologetic about the actions I take.
We have huge traffic and people from all aspects of the industry view RC posts, of which I am very proud to say we are the leading forum in this space in New Zealand.
There will be some changes coming soon, of which we will keep you updated on.
Thanks for the support of most members here, it’s really appreciated.

100% Scooby. I was on the rail for the 2100 start and honestly, it did not sound like a Soft 6.....how much rain would take it to Heavy? Track held up remarkably.
Also remarkable...I could get a coffee after 2.30 pm in the public stand. Actualy service from a very friendly chap.
Only downside is the constant vapers in a smokefree zone but...you can't have everything.
    Was a good day.

    Manco Easter this Saturday....

Quite keen on Little bit of Love, O Sulli/Scott horse.
Only one go at the mile when it was 5th on New Years day in Rich Hill. Somewhat blocked for a run there, had the fastest last 200m and I just....remember how often Lance would pull off some miracle to win those big mile races, often on his Dad's horses.
I know it is paying $30 but you have respect the stable.
