Without looking back at the video reports that I get, he rode one for us not too long ago at either Steve Pateman's [pre-training] or at Patrick and Michelle Payne's in a gallop or jump-out. In simple terms the reason that I have responded is; that it is likely that he is still in the industry. No proof, only memory of an old lady.

I think Marketplace could be something special, JJ mate. I know it's an average 3yo crop, with only Rubira with class, GetChoc etc below that pair. Nevertheless, Marketplace toyed with them last night, jogging and easily holding them off. another impatient drive by Dunn. I think with Wag Star it's the sire, The Sweet Lou's are more speed horses like the Art Majors. Vincent seem to be more staying horses, which is a surprise because he's an Art Major. It must be the dam sire Safely Kept where the staying blood comes from. I don't know anything about Safely Kept as he based in Ausralia. His dam Imke B by Bettors Delight. Art Major out of Bettors Delight mare a strong cross/ Marketplace is the real deal... Just my opinion of course -

Can only wish all the best for a speedy recovery, brings home some reality for us that just punt, watch and critique the riders, and I can plead guilty of that occasionally, certainly reminds us of the important things in life.

Ulrika Holmquist who has ridden successfully during the summer in NZ a few times in the last few years had a bad fall in Norway. She has neck, rib and back injuries from what was a serious fall. I would like to wish her well in her recovery and hope everything with her rehab goes well for her and she can make a full recovery. This industry can be bloody rough some times. -
