The Squirrel just checked his supply of acorns for the winter and it's looking a bit grim - hopefully I've sorted a couple that will help replenish the stock on Saturday!

 

Really liked the run of Guarantor at Ellerslie last time so think at the weights he looks a good thing in the first at Trentham. Might have a decent crack at the early treble there with Reminisce in the second leg and Endeavour and Bronsteel in the last leg.

 

Popeye Braggins won first up in the same race last year so he looks a nice eachway in the 4th and quinella with the fav Waikaha while my tote buster for the weekend is He's Dan in the 7th at Te Rapa - recall him winning at mammoth odds once there so hope he can do it again.
