Pfft who cares.. you guys act like NZ is the only country that all this is happening in.. it's not it's happening in every country ... it's an NZ learning curve guys and we did f'n well getting out of Covid as well as we did compared to other countries and because we did all the anti vaxers come out to play ... They join the pathetic New Zealanders that think they are oh so priviileged and everything should happen like magic for them.. and that everything should be laid out for them.. so that they never have to want for anything or worry about anything .. I suggest that all you New Zealanders that are so unhappy with NZ.. go and live overseas for a few years and just see how good we have it in New Zealand.. you think interest rates are high.. you think we should cry whenever something isn't on a shelf in a supermarket, you think NZ is racist?? blimey... good luck selling that overseas ..... you are all so ignorant of what other countries are going through and how they actually are.. and you don't understand that what you have is pretty bloody good and still in all that whilst trying to support countries suffering devastation .. we have to look after our own, because we have just as devastating things happening here as are happening offshore ... one thing after another... and you know.. I think for a small country that has gone through this unending drama for the last five years... our government has done amazingly well. I don't think any other government could have got us through this in the pretty good shape that we are.. considering that even more issues hit us every day .. certainly not one focused on monetary and capitalist issues rather than social issues.

The NZ based breeding industry are certainly making themselves felt in NZ and Australia at the moment and it's fantastic for the breeding industry here. Look at So You Think, Per Incanto, Redwood and even Legarto, with a NZ broodmare line on both sides dating back 70 odd years. I think it's exciting.

What I didn't understand today was when Bevan was about to interview Jake Bayliss and then he said oops no we need to cross and then we had 1 minute of talking from BP (or whomever) as a lead in to Aussie talking about their horses and then saying we are crossing now.... why? We could have heard from Jake over that time and still seen the horses and the odds on screen... It doesn't take a lot of common sense does it... or does it?

I'll always remember when I called Cubes, Cubemeister for the first time in one of the previous comps on here many years ago when he was my oppo, and he messaged me and said, can I call myself that, and I said yes of course you can, it's your name It's something that has always made me smile over the many many years when he rolled out the meister term. Very cool and just a nice connection

I got over him ages ago, put me off harness and that's saying a lot, as it's been much of my life. I don't even watch or follow it now.

I think that perhaps the research needed and the need to retain that knowledge for presenting over a day, might be a bit much with his injury at the moment, and even in the future, but I believe he'd do well as a trainer, horses love him and they respond to him, and I think he'd do well going down that path with a good group around him.
