Was anyone else unfortunate enough to see the Rosanowski-Cole interview on Trackside today around 1pm? It's like Rosanowski read this thread and thought 'let's take it up another notch'. It was truly vomit inducing. Rosanowski interviewing Cole pointing out how awesome he is, Cole agreeing that he's hotshit, saying he will win 1000 races next season "I promise you that". Rosanowski pointing out how awesome Craig Rendle is, Cole agreeing saying he was happy to go into business with "such a great guy". Then Rosanowski says (I'm paraphrasing) "are you concerned that you're dominating and pushing everyone else out or do you think they should just get better and reach the bar you've set" to which Cole suggests everyone needs to lift their game cos he started from the bottom , he then talks about "sacrifices" and being willing "to borrow money and borrow more money" , by this stage my eyes hurt from rolling them so much and my mouth is full of vomit. Rosanowski can redeem himself and this cock sucker interview if he follows up with...But Brendon you borrowed and borrowed and then went BANKRUPT and have been living a lie under Lisa Cole's name every since. But Brendon you are currently facing criminal charges for cheating/animal cruelty. But Brendon , Craig Rendle hooked you (and himself) up with all that frozen semen when abusing his position as Chairman with his first dibs 'sales'. But Brendon..... But No, it was a big Rosanowski/Cole wank fest. I'm not even involved in the game anymore, I'm not a 'sore loser'. But I know Cole, and I see him for what he is, and I feel sorry for all the decent , honest participants in this game that have to sit there and listen to his bullshit. And I feel sorry for other people like Rosanowski that buy into all this bullshit Cole spins and paint him as some kind of legend of the sport,he's the opposite,he's a scourge.

However, as for punting, I've gotta do what I've gotta do...I did used to struggle backing Cole because the whole situation makes me ill, however I do punt the dogs, and I do put in analysis, so once I do that, (head over heart) I have no problem punting in C.D as its still a product that I can trust in terms of form analysis, yesterday I had a big night... Rc1 got Angel at 1.55 she was a moral (paid 1.20 tote). Rc2 Baby was a great bet at 2.50 (paid 1.70) Sir Duggie back to C4. Cheese and chalk - ultra reliable paid 6's !!! Jonie Bigtime Rod huge overs at 9's most wins/experience in the race. Bigtime Fairy what an impressive win from the pocket rocket. So I guess I'm abit conflicted... I'm making money on the punt, but I don't like the shape this great game is in at all.

I have it from a good source that this is still going ahead , yes it's been ages but you see on the news every day examples of how slow the justice system ticks, throw in Coles lawyer getting hit by a bus and Covid-19 and the wait goes on. My understanding is that it will be a Jury trial (last we heard, if/when we ever get there) and the SPCA have handed over to the 'Crown Prosecutor' who now has to do the rounds all over again with the witnesses etc. Dates for next appearance? Dont Know. Strength of case? Dont Know. 100% sure we'll ever get to this trial? No. I've been around long enough to know theres no certainties in racing or the justice system! However like I said, last I heard its still going ahead, despite Cole constantly stirring rumours to the contrary, just to upset people. Which brings me to my next point, why are we talking about this again now? Probably because we all saw Cole's ugly mug all over the TV the other day! Biggest question about sweeping under rugs is WHY GRNZ HAVE ALLOWED THIS MAN BACK ON COURSE??? Does anyone know? Were we all meant to forget after Covid....? There's witnesses on course that he's supposed to stay 100m away from (my understanding)....he has been known to bully and intimidate. SMH.

I've been in holiday mode but try to stay in touch with results etc, while browsing thru results for Palmy dogs on Monday I see Cole DOMINATED, some quick stats from Monday... Cole 8/12 races won. 6 Cole trifectas! They claimed 25/36 available spots on the podium!! Wow..and I know, this is relatively normal it's just that I dont normally scan thru results page and to see it there in black and white was quite confronting and quite sad to be honest. I hear Hayley Mullane is going to be working for Cole, after appearing to be a promising, successful young trainer the struggle has become real, no more so than when she started training his and Rendle's cast-offs , so from promising young northern trainer to CD Cole minion...she's been enveloped into the Cole web and this is just another small example of the sickening dominance of this man.

Anyone else find that when you click on a bet and add it to betslip the price invariably goes down at that very moment, now I know what your thinking, you win some you lose some, but seriously i never seem to click on a price and then it magically goes up..if it changes its down! The other day I clicked on a price, $6 , then it changed to 5.50 in front of my eyes, now this was at 10am 4 hours before jump!! I decided, bugger this not taking it now, then check a little later back to $6..?? No sign of a fluctuation either.. Anyone else?

I was having trouble too, opening up the 'punters lounge' etc. I use it mostly from an S8 Samsumg smartphone. I phoned the help desk there's been a change my system was no longer supported or words to that effect anyway the cure is to open TAB app using 'Chrome'. And if you dont know what that means, maybe someone can explain? Cos I'm no expert myself..

Listing all those requirements is a tad strange alright! Yeh thanks for the news flash slam dunk. It's a Bigtime bore. Or is that Big time bore? What's with the gap between big and time now..? You could argue that it's not B Cole's fault that no one in the C.D can go with his standards...to a degree that's a fair enough point but you could also argue that B Cole is a horrible piece of work, a nasty, greedy man, a cheat, a bully, a criminal... the worst thing to ever happen to this industry.

Agree as above. I enjoy the Jockey and Driver Challenge bet types as an entertainment bet type. Sometimes I win and sometimes I lose and sometimes it's a deatheat. But that's OK because I understand the deadheat rules, I am also struggling to see Sparrow's logic. Given the example above, I don't know the odds but I'm assuming someone like Sam Collett came up short of expectations so you get a tiny payout, someone like Hazel probably exceeded expectations so followers were grateful for their payout. In other words, just punting. Punting is punting is punting...

Agree with these sentiments GOM. Very sad to hear about David's passing. I have such fond memories of the DD Schofield kennels around the turn of the Millennium/early 2000s, they really were a superstar kennel with all their shiny new Aus Imports, that was my 'good old days'. Some dogs that come to mind...Smokin' Prince, Overtime, Big Sam Junior, Big Sam Banner, the Charlstons, Te Amore Lee, Astro Teddy ( creator of the greatest dog race of all time)...Theres many more champions I've forgotten..?? Anyway that's what I'll remember David for, my condolences to Denis and Pam. I dont know the circumstances around Dave's death but those who knew him, know he had his struggles, this is a sad end..RIP now David, Champion Trainer, gone too soon.

Yeh, we learned that recently GOM when 'Team McInerney' managed to kill some dogs, (let's hope it's not them again!) that story escaped with less Media/Police/SPCA attention than this latest case...why? Ironically because the McInerney's where even more negligent and cruel, it wasn't dealt with straight after the ferry sailing, the poor dogs lay dead in the back of the van all the way back to Darfield! But at least that gave the Mcinerney's more time to get it away from the attention of the Media/Police/SPCA.
