My God, I cringe when I see that AD, mute button .. they didn't even think to use Sam Spratt effectively, you just get a nano second glimpse of one of racings great personalities. And I note no reference to Harness or Greyhounds. I don't quite understand why Popplewell rambles on about American football all the time either.
This morning the TAB wound Kyprios into $1.75 .....so we were lucky getting the evens. He still has to win but it's nice to get a bit of 'overs' on the best stayer in the UK.

No there was never a right of purchase. She was always going to the owners broodmare paddock when her racing days are over.
So there's no question that they have the "right" to do what they have. But whether that's the "right thing" to do by all concerned is a very different question.
And the virtually "extortionate" offer to extend the lease is, well ....just plain greed of epic proportions!
