It was a good effort from the Warriors led by an outstanding MVP in Sylvia but they found The Thundersbirds, who also achieved a team profit bonus point, just too good with Lloyd an impressive Man of the Match and Moose also putting in a good knock. 188.80 PJ 378.80 Heather 131.00 Punter Pete 331.00 Cubes 274.00 John 453.00 Moose 248.80 Pete 217.80 Brian 542.60 Sylvia 154.00 Catalano 262.60 The Crucible 573.80 Lloyd 3 THE BRONCOS $926.80 1 point 3 THE HEAT $1249.00 1.5 points Only MVP Nekky scored for The Broncos in the last as their winning streak came to end surprisingly at the hands of The Heat, for whom Sharne (with a BB) and Man of the Match with a top score - Jack, scored in the Oaks. This caused the Warriors and Panthers to lose a spot each while The Reapers also suffered the same fate and are now at the cellar door just aggregate only ahead of today's moral victors - The Heat. The Sunliners draw moved them up a place halting their slide.

We Broncos are pleased to come out with a point to keep the ole scoreboard ticking along on what apart from the Rampant Renegades was overall a relatively low points-scoring day for the various teams. Special mention today for our Nekky amassing a nice individual score towards the team effort; and for Geoff who with a 7-1 record just has to be the best-performing of all those chosen first out of the draft for the various teams. Great day for the Kiwi horses in Queensland today, beaut stuff, and made for a very good watch. Big win for our league boys against the Newcastle Knights today; an inevitable win for the All Blacks this evening against the Welsh ...yes a very enjoyable Saturday indeed. N1MUE 1,877 Report post Posted June 11, 2016 Congrats on a good win today Thunderbirds - too strong for us. Not a bad effort today team Warriors - good wins against the T'Birds again from Sylvia and Pete and pretty good scoring across the board to earn the bonus point (but especially thanks to our star player - Sylvia). Renegades next week - hopefully they've used up all their winners in this one week. Remarkable effort from Rees & team today - congrats! Hesi, Ian & co - anybody home? (note our namesakes a game away from winning the NBA finals, and our other namesakes with a good win today - although the Knights are pretty poor) Lloyd Vivian
