Overlooked fact that Kay had the late scratching in the Soliloquy.  Not entirely sure of the rules - Kay already had the favourite so does that mean the scratching goes onto the second favourite (Choice) which ran the quinella, which would give Kay a further $7.80.  Doesn't change the current result.

Next race the Blues are cheering for Joey Jonz and Dragon Keeper and the Canes are cheering for Secrets Only and Old Drumble.

"Canes are cheering for Secrets Only and Old Drumble" - too true.  Rees gets a best bet quinella and Kay the only other to pick the winner.  Blues leave their home track behind them with a 4-1 deficit.

Chiefs (5) vs Ferdies (3)

Race 7 Comp:  Race 5 Rosehill

Winner :   $4.10  :  4 – Shooting to Win

Second :   1 – Scissor Kick

Quinella   $2.50  :  4 - 1

Scr(s) :     None    LS :

0 Chiefs - $364.00

5 Ferdies - $979.80

The Ferdies are on fire today and their total for the day doesn’t really tell the true story due to so many faves winning.    Heather with a BB Quinella, PJ with a Quinella, Bryan with a Quinella, and Moz with a BB Quinella are not showing any signs of slowing down as the Ferdie Express rolls on …

Grant, on any other day you would be creaming it – six winners already and 2 quinellas … but today you struck Heather who is relishing warmer climates when it comes to this comp.

183.60 Grant

288.80 Heather

68.80 Maria

224.40 PJ
