Oaks are always a fillies race. Derby in all codes are open. If you look at the programs a filly can start in the Derby.

Question. Should the Derby and the Oaks be run on the same day? Surely our best fillies should have the opportunity to have a crack at winning both.

Fixed odds betting is where the increase is but still they get rid of anyone who is making money. If they are making 14 or 20 percent why limit successful punters. Also where is the data on bonus bets I have been betting on a 10 bonus bet I received 4 weeks ago. That $10 has created over $300 in turn over so far and still counting. When it gets down to zero you just wait for the next one.
