  1. Great to see this talented mare back racing. Has shown so much potential and looks to be in for a good Brisbane campaign. Currently at $15 for the straddie. Has been backed off the map for todays race, $8's into $3.50 in aus. All reports are she's flyyying.

    TAB promo.

I see the TAB are running a promo tomorrow as detailed below. Interested to hear people's opinions on how I Can Doosit will be driven tomorrow night as i believe this is the influencing factor in this double getting up. Cant see Escapee being pushed by anything in her race. If I Can Doosit gets off the markers early then he will be too good for these trotters, amazingly going for his 11th win in a row. What a freak. Log in to tab.co.nz this Friday morning to view the ‘2 Hot To Trot’ booster odds for the night’s feature meeting at Alexandra Park. For three hours (9:00am – 12:00pm) customers can bet on the Escapee (Race 6)/I Can Doosit (Race 9) double at higher odds than are usually available. *At higher odds than will be available on the Final Field Win odds for both runners during the three hours of morning trading. *Escapee & I Can Doosit both must win for the bet to be paid out *Available between 9:00am and 12:00pm only *Cannot be included in Multi bets. *Both runners must start

A slow/heavy track is being predicted, More Joyous looks a definite scratching / Lay of the year if she runs. Shoot Out is on top for me,should slot in nicely from the draw and with the blinkers coming back on. Secret Admirer the big danger. Kings rose for third. On a side note, good luck to Roger James with Full Of Spirit in the oaks, Streama looks the goods tho. Saturday looks to be a great days racing with great racing coming out of Aussie, other kiwi interest see's Durham Town lining up against a good field in Brisbane, and St Germaine running for Sarge. Solzhenitsyn an ex-kiwi goes around in the 3rd at eagle farm and i reckon he has a good race in him come Brisbane, huge fresh up and can reel off super sectionals. Good Luck to everyone on the punt.
  5. Eight Schillings scratched.Will go m4,r7,num 5.Irish Rebel,Cheers good luck all
  6. Hi could somebody please tell me where i can find the sectional splits for NZ greyhound meetings, I always hear them on the radio when the commentator is wrapping the race but have never been able to find anything. I find it unfathomable if these are not available to punters. How can we make informed decisions and spend our hard earned when not all vital information has been provided? Also wouldnt it be great to be able to view previous meetings on the internet! Anything to boost turn-over surely... Cheers Reilly

    Opawa Eye

DTC jumped away evenly, not long after the start was beaten for early speed and dropped back to second last, started getting warm over the last 100-150m and was moving good ground at the end but never looked like it would get close to the winner.
  8. Looking thru the fields for Friday at wanganui i see there is an interesting race for Brian Martin to call. Louielicious Lizzylicious Lilylicious Skyilicious Four Too Many Lucylicious Five Too Many Ladylicious Never seen anything like it!
  9. Good Luck with Khan, will be a huge effort if he can win. Perry Winkle looks to be flying after returning from a little break.
  10. When is NZGRA going to embrace modern age technology and upload races onto their website? I cant understand in this day and age that for those people without DVD recorders/Mysky, there is no way to comprehensively do form properly! On a different note someone stated a week or so back that their is no way to get sectional splits from each raceday/dog. Now this i really do not understand. If punters are investing their hard earned surely they have the right to get all information before making their decisions?
  11. Shame alright, was hugely taken by his last start win on Karaka million's day. Could be the making of the horse tho and i hope he comes back better than before! Makes the derby picture alot easier to work out! Surely one of Ocean Park or Rock n' Pop will win it now.
  12. So you are saying this definitely does happen? Imo if intentional i think it shows the class of the "Mcinerney" team. Im all for every dog getting an equal chance and if boxing a dog a few seconds after the other's is going to bring an advantage I dont care who it is but its not right. Ive heard alot of "storys" about young Mcinerney...Not someone id want training my dog anyway!
  13. It has NZ by his name...Great fields none the less. I can doosit by how much? Looks like A.R will start close to favourite in the hunter cup... Should be a greats night racing.
  14. Thanks Jape, very helpful and informative as per usual.
  15. Agreed, Thrilling Quest was a HUGE run last week! Cant see them beating her in the 5th race on the card. Interesting to see how Switch Forward in the first goes, Tan,Rozo,Clark have owned a few good ones and this guy is no different, think he will be winning the first.
  16. I was doing some form for the CHCH dogs on Friday on the NZGRA website and have met a dead-end. Apparently JINJARANGO and WANDY GENO both ran 2nd in a trial behind Know Escape in 17.59. Am assuming it is not a dead head as the margains do not indicate this. I always assumed that the information shown would always be Factual when punters are spending their hard earned... Or am i missing something here? Cheers Reilly
  17. Whats everyones thoughts on this years edition of the Wellington Cup? Bit disappointing to see Bigtime Kinvara on the reserve's and very unlikely to get a run. Bookies have Little Mother at $3.20 favourite for the final, she is running in the easier of 2 the heats and if she can get away cleanly without Kazz Razz cutting her in half, she doesn't look bad value. First heat is a tough one, Three Inch Nail should get the rail easily enough and was a huge run last week, he looks back to his best form.
  18. I agree, a breath of fresh air. Congragulations Mike on your success with Matanuska so far and long may it continue
