  1. True but is it going to be enough I think not . We can always do more
  2. That's the question , I really have no idea if NSW will ban greyhound racing . I'm sure people set to have there world ripped out from under them will have to put up a fight , But what are we here in NZ going to do about it . Before it gets to this worst case scenario . What steps can we put in place to protect ourselves . Having a welfare code , RIU yes but we all need to do more , have better steps in place. Limits need to be put on the number of dogs per person . Gap needs more help there should be at least 5 re homing places in the South Island and a further 6 to 7 in the north island,With at least 30 dogs at one time . The whole of greyhound racing needs to get behind this . We have a choice . What can we do .
  3. Why did they take these sets of Boxs ? Did they have no other choice ? The story was the day the fields were drawn they were still trying to fix them from there previous meeting true ? Why after a false start can the starter hand start the remaining races if the trip doesn't work ? Would he be better off being prepared for this to happen from the get go ?
  4. It's a bloody disgrace and they wonder why they are finding it hard to get 12 races .
  5. Ok, So what questions should be asked and why ?
  6. If Subic bay had been beaten would anyone be saying anything ? People just stiring to make themselves feel better. As a punter I like betting on the best dog in the race, he was the best dog in the field and won well . Everyone out there had the chance to back him. People you can not knock a trainer that doesn't start there dog clearly the dog had an injurie that was picked up and fixed before the final . I'd say well done
  7. Would you want it to go round sore ? Why not fix what's wrong with it and have it 100% for the final makes sense to me .
  8. It's a c2 and a c2 distance .
  9. Does this mean the dog shouldn't be racing because you don't race them ?
  10. Why ? and what gives you the right to say it shouldn't be racing ? Tell us your background so we can all paint a picture .
  11. Why can't you prove it ? Really it's just nasty people ,who are sour when it comes down to it . If you can prove it then it would be fact not just opinions . Cheats will get caught they always do . People don't help themselves by stiring the pot just makes them feel better about themselves .
  12. I'll still be backing dogs under $18 at Auckland .
  13. wassa how many do you have to bred to be classed as a farmer?
  14. You my friend are in la la land 1st you think you can pick the right dog in the race then change your mind when you see it is strapped, if you look at the form guide you would no it was always going to be strapped and most of the dogs have been strapped in previous starts. Secondly you can tell if a dog is chasing or injured from your armchair and can tell the stewards how to do there job. Then you follow up by saying the trainer should check there dogs better have them fit to races as in your eyes they are not. But hey don't stop there you become a vet to and judge there job to. Bugger me mate just give up the punt clearly you are a poor judge.
  15. Obsessed and not a very smart punter
  16. Gee whiz you all bite did I say an age ?
  17. That he is a very good trainer and a lot of people look up to him, ask advice etc . I think he knows what he's doing.
  18. I note ray adcock started a greyhound today born November 2014 . Won its qualifying race on the 29th March. Went a get race today over 520m
  19. If the dog didn't need strapped why would it be ? If it was a hindrance why would they have it on ? I guess the club provides it ? And can a dog be held together with tape ?
  20. Very true I take your point
  21. Unfortunately for you, You have the wrong person but nevertheless. I see a lot of trainers racing dogs at this age . Yes 34kg is a great weight but if the dog is foward and ready I see no problem. While this maybe wrong in your eyes everyone is different and this doesn't mean you are right or in fact correct. A couple of things you have no idea about other than who I am is #1 What preparation the said dog has had . #2 what are it's plains going forward . These must be taken into account before making statements such as yours . Each to there own everyone is different,in Australia I see greyhounds under 2 with only 2 or 3 starts being put over 600 m plus is this right or wrong. Who am I to judge.
  22. Aquaman this is what is wrong with this forum, people like you giving the dogs a bad name by presuming this was the case instead of getting facts correct. One has to ask how can the game move forward with these comments
  23. Surely it didn't run like that would be the answer. But do agree would be great to see these trials before having a bet .
